These boots are very cute, with designs on the sides of the boots and the areas above the top of the feet. The material feels high quality and durable. And, the boots are comfortable and easy to walk in. The material is slightly warm on the legs, but not too hot to be worn year round. The shoes are slightly difficult to pull on. They are not made of stretchy material, and there is not much give/expansion in the boots when putting them on, so you may have to push your feet in hard to get the boots on. I ordered these in a 9 and usually wear an 8.5 sneaker, but often a 9 boot. I find them to be true to size and pretty comfortable. I am new to cowboy boots generally speaking. I found after wearing these a few hours, with not a ton of walking, that my toes did get a bit achy on one foot. I think this may be due to the slight up curl of the toes. My feet are used to being spoiled with wide flat shoes so that could be enough to throw me off. I wasn't gimping in them though and I was comfortable everywhere else and not overheating either. The ankle part is a nice supple softness, and the soul has a good balance of flex and stiff strength to it. I hope they break in a bit and become a go to shoe for me. I do love the stiching and the look of them alot. I think they are great in and out of a pant leg. There isn't as much tread or thickness to the soul as I would like for traction and longevity but I think they are good for a dressy casual pair.
