A lot of reviewers said the adhesion didn't last, but I wonder if they applied these to dirty or textured soles. My shoes were brand new, had 100% slick soles (what gives, Kate Spade???), and I cleaned them meticulously with rubbing alcohol prior to applying (like you do when installing a phone screen protector). I imagine the integrity of the seal would be jeopardized by dirt or hairs, and that textured soles would allow dirt and hairs to weasel under the adhesion, which may explain the issues some people have had. I danced all night long without issues. I mostly do little twisty and shuffle-y motions with my feet on the floor (I never said I was a GOOD dancer). I also walked through wet grass quite a bit. When doing the cha-cha slide hops I was worried the landing would sort of budge the pads, but again, no problems. That being said, I JUMPED in my heels with these on - I think that's a pretty good testament to how well they prevented slipping. 10/10 recommend. ... show more

Bought this for my high heels, it works for first time and second when I wear it out. After that, it just gone. You can use it for emergency, but I don't suggest for a long time use.

This is a very versatile, quick and efficient repair aid for just about any small hole in a shoe. The only issue is that the material thickness is average and will wear out, perhaps after 10-20 wearings. Solution is to apply another patch, or, just cut in a new sole.

I was skeptical if this product would stick onto the shoes for the long term, but it does! No peeling off. I would hope the rubber was a little more anti slip tho. It’s a bit more hard rubber than say cleaning gloves rubber, but still good.

You can stick these on the bottom of any shoes and they will keep you from sliding around. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I usually have to buy nonslip shoes, but now I don't have to. I just stick these babies on the bottom and boom! I am good to go.
