I only bought these through Amazon because I needed the next size up from a pair I purchased through the Doc Martens website but they were sold out of every size and color. With taxes it was around $3 more to purchase through Amazon which isn’t a big deal but Doc Martens does offer after pay so it’s more accessible IMO. I purchased on a Wednesday with 2 day shipping and the shoes arrived the following Tuesday. Not a big deal but don’t order them last minute if you are needing them for an event/occasion on short notice. They were shipped in the shoe box inside of a polymailer so the box was a little smashed up but the shoes were fine. When you order from the actual company they ship with the shoe box inside of another box to help prevent that. Again, the shoes were fine but they did use what seemed to be too large of a shoe form so the straps are a little stretched. All that said the shoes are what I ordered, new and clean. ... show more

I read reviews on multiple sites before ordering these. I almost bought the size 6 because that’s what I have in all my Docs, but one review said that they are a true 6 and bought the size 5 and they fit. I don’t know, I just went with my gut and got the size 5 and they fit like a freaking dream! Not only am I stoked to have them in my perfect size, but they are so cute and comfy!
