Very good shoe. Love the style. I was debating between size 5 and 6 for quite a few moments. I am mostly 5.5 to 6, occasionally 6.5 in certain styles. I have docs vegan 2976 in 6 and it fit well. This shoe isn't so tight that feels uncomfortable in size 5. Meanwhile it's pretty heavy which I don't really mind but the heaviness defies any inclination for looser shoes. So I ended up with 5 and am returning 6. Nothing bad about this shoe. It's great looking and comfortable and the materials look very durable. Update: wore size 5 half day shopping. No breaking in needed. Heavy but comfortable. I am raising my rate to 5. Oh it's sort of lightly padded so will be great for cold weather.

I’m crazy over Doc Martens! I own a couple pairs of boots and one pair of sandals, all size 6 but I had to get a 7 in this style. I would say that they run a little small. The buckles were hard to work at first but are fine now. They are a bit heavy, like a good hiking boot. I love them but expect a little bit of “break in” time. They are super comfortable now!

I love that they didn’t hurt my feet the first time I wore them! NO BLISTERS!!!! I’ve worn them several times and they are a bit heavy but not uncomfortable at all! Plus the added height comes in handy at concerts for us shorter people lol.

Love the price of 89$ . This is a super heavy boot. Looks cool and is comfortable but feels like I’m wearing weights. Bomber construction and sweet wide toe box. Complimented on the boot all day at work. SIZE DOWN. I wear an 8-8.5 with need for wide toe box . I think a 7.5 would be ideal in this model of DM’s.

Someone said in a review that the "tongue" doesn't stay in place...well I'm here to tell you that, right out of the box, I wore these on an 8 hour shift...standing all but 30 mins...[my break] & the "tongue" stayed in place. More importantly, they are SOOOO comfortable! And what a great price! I was going to buy docs in England when I visit in November, but I thought "well I won't be able to beat this price so I'll try them." OH MY GIDDY AUNT! I am SO glad I ordered these! Usually the first time you wear docs you have to be patient as they need 'wearing in'. But not with these! I LOVE the buckles! I have weird shaped feet so the buckle near my toes is on hole number 2 & the buckle near my ankle is on hole number 3. This allows for my feet to get the most comfort, as I have a bunion on my left foot. I'm a 7 1/2 shoe size in this country & a 5 in the UK. The 7 fit perfect! (As it usually does in doc martens). Overall, I totally recommend these boots. I mean...EIGHT HOURS & my feet don't hurt?! Hello!

I read a ton of reviews before buying that advised getting these 2 sizes smaller than your regular shoe size. I'm typically a 8.5/9 and according to the size chart on Doc Martens site I should've ordered an 8, so I ordered an 8. They were too small due to a cushion inside the boot on the back of the foot so I returned and got my 9 and they fit just right. Boots are super cute and give you some height, highly recommend!
