Description

Built to stand the test of time. This 1460 is crafted from a new DM’s leather: Wild Buck, a tough, oily hide with a subtle pull-up effect which means it ages and builds character with wear. Comes complete with utility-inspired laces and eyelets to reinforce the rugged aesthetic and are welted on a Smoke DMS sole and marked by DM's yellow welt stitching and AirWair heel loop.

These are great! They aren't as stiff as the originals but that's a bonus. They've come back around in fashion so my 17 yr old daughter wanted these for Christmas. I struggled with which ones to get but I'm super happy I chose these, she loves them. They run a bit big, she's a women's 10 and they are closer to a 10.5 but with no half sizes a men's 9 is actually a women's 10.5 and I knew this prior to buying. Always better to go up a half size than down. The soles on these are great too, not to bulky or high but still enough to make a statement. My daughter is 5'10 so she doesn't like extremely high soles and these don't add too much height, maybe an inch or inch and a half or so. I have been wearing Dr martens Pascal for very long time. I owned a few pairs of it. This one seems very similar to my other Pascal. The shoes are softer and very comfortable to wear. Perhaps the sizing is inconsistent given reviews are also inconsistent. I'm a size 8.5 and got a Womens 8, box and boot labelled as the expected UK 6. I have 4 pairs of doc martens here all UK 6 and they all measure about 25.5cm insole. These measure 26.7cm and are too large even though I went down half a size. Listen to the reviews. If you have an inbetween size, size down. Normally with docs they recommend to size up but the reviews all said to size down for this particular one. I wear a 10.5 normally and ordered a 10 and they fit perfectly!

These boots are fabulous. I love Dr. Martens, but hate the time and effort it takes to break them in. These boots are by far the most comfortable I’ve purchased from Dr. Martens, and I can tell breaking them in will be no problem at all. I always have to size down in the brand and typically wear a 5, which is what I ordered in these. They fit well with warm winter socks as well. Smart looking and sturdy. Everywhere my German Shepard goes, these boots go also. The grip of the sole is perfectly suited to hiking and, if they get wet, they aren't ruined. Quality and style. Love them!

    • Sent me the wrong size, clearly fake

So I don't care that they are fake, but the size was wrong and the inside right has an uncut piece of leather that rubs against my foot. Very uncomfortable. I'll need to get a razor to cut the excess leather off. No quality control let's me know it's not legit, and the box was not even Doc box...
