These shoes hold up well. I wear them to work every day and have broken them in. They’re not super cute but they’re easy to clean and keep looking nice with polish / Vaseline. Make sure to buy some shoe inserts and break them in if you want comfort

Bought these since my Jadon Max’s aren’t comfortable at all if I’m at work moving around a ton and lifting, but still wanted some Doc’s. Super comfortable and I’m able to do my 8-hour shifts comfortably and no foot pain.

Fit and finish is similar to the classic MIE (made in England) Doc's that some of us remember and possibly still own. I'm not sure if these will last 20 years, but they are well made. These 1461 style Docs require a break in period and we do not recommend you try to wear them 8-10 hours out of the box. Keep those old work shoes around for a few more days! The fit and the toe box is a bit more snug than the classic, what used to be a little roomy isn't anymore but fits well after break in. If you are familiar with 1461's the arch is right where you expect it and the updated inserts are very good, a true improvement. You won't need those power steps for awhile, if ever. The bottom of the sole is also updated and provides well above average grip on both water and oil. Unfortunately the tiny channels on the bottom of the sole get packed with dirt and grime easily and are quite a bit of work to clean. So not an improvement. These are, as expected, heavy shoes and have good balance even with the safety toe. The uppers follow the classic lines and whatever exactly they are made out of, it's very durable. These work shoes are a good value and should last a year or 2 at least.

I received 100% genuine Doc Martens in the exact size and type I ordered. I am a size 11.5 and previously ordered size 12 from the Doc Martens’ website and they were too big. I ordered an 11 from here and they fit perfectly, with just the right amount of wiggle-room. I wanted to write this review just to let it be known that these are legit and amazing! (and cheaper than on the official Doc Martens website)
