I buy new work shoes every 4-6 months. I have only been purchased non slip shoes geared towards restaurant workers for a few years now. I got my first pair of regular doc martens this summer and fell in love. I started wearing them to work because they’re the only shoes that didn’t hurt my feet. After buying 3 pairs of regular dr martens and not wanting to completely ruin all of my good boots, I ordered these. Highly recommend. Size: 10 Women/9 Men
I am a fan of boots but often time have a hard time finding chelsea's that fit due to my wide feet. Just for reference when it comes to work boots I wear a Redwing Wellington 9, Wolverine 9 but in other brands such as Thursday Boots etc sometimes go to an 8 or 8 1/2 depending on the brand and model. For these Doc Martens I will say this. If your a male and have E feet do not size down. Go with your normal size. At a size 9 these fit perfectly. Width/length is good. A little snug up top but that will change with time due to leather break in. Often people talk about leather breaking in which is true but only for the top area of the boot. They never get wider with break in. So take my advice and order your normal size. They will be a little snug up top but everything else will be perfect and only get better after the break in period. ... show more

Man, I have a love hate relationship with these shoes. Two pairs bought, but they both lasted under a year. I Buy these because we throw water around at my job literally hourly, and those clogs will do nothing when you're wading through puddles. I also need shoes that support my ankle and tie up, so clogs are doubly unreliable for my needs. But man.. these shoes simply do not last. I will add pictures, but the actual SHOE part lifted up from the main sole on the inside of the left arch. Now tons of water gets in these shoes and I find myself having to buy another pair. Looking into other brands at this point cus dang... Never in my life had a shoe do this to me before. ... show more

I originally bought the Wyoming version of the Doc Martin Chelsea’s. They were very comfortable but I exchanged them for this pair once I determined I liked the look of the curved elastic sides and shorter sole better. While the others wore perfectly right out of the box these took some serious effort to break in the heavy duty leather and caused some chaffing on my legs around the openings.
