I use tbem to troll and keep my worm off the very bottom. GOID for finding fish in deep water. I say fish because I caught a channel cat and a flathead catfish dragging this near the bottom with an eel like plastic lure. But it will get hung up.

    • Be Careful While Casting. Check adhesive!

They work great and hardly snag on anything. Out of all of them only one of them had a swivel pop out easily since it had no glue or adhesive on it. I noticed this one after opening the package so make sure to check them. Resecured it and I have no issues with that one. However i casted 2 of these a slightly harder than normal and the weight itself popped off only leaving the swivel attached to my line. These 2 looked like they didn't have any defects and only flew off after a slightly harder cast. The 3rd one got snagged against something and when I got it up, the weight had popped off only leaving the swivel again. Only had them for 3 weeks and theres already issues with them. The one I have resecured myself, seems to be doing well and show no signs of wear. So maybe out of the 6 I received, 3 of them are still good after 3 weeks with 1 of them having to be repaired out the box. -If casting, be very careful with these since they are not secured to the swivel strongly - they work great in snag areas - if snagged, its very easy to unsnag them most of the time -the rattles are audible and work good I would probably not buy these again since they are pretty pricy for how weak the attachment points are. I'd rather just make my own. If just dropping off a boat I highly recommend these. Maybe its an error on my part for casting them slightly harder but these should be secured better, especially for the price. I probably got a bad batch seeing others have no issues. ... show more
