My use case is a little unique in that I'm trying to get rid of some dark underarms. Let's just say that I had developed dark underarms from bad shaving habits over the years that accumulated some dark dead skin and recently used some other acids that looked like it made the situation worse in an attempt to get rid of that dead skin. In search of a quick fix, I toughed it out by splurging on this and I now think this is well worth the price. I instantly saw a bit brightening after the first use since some of the dead skin was easily removed. Fast forward in less than 2 weeks, I'm already seeing huge improvement that none of the other acids I've tried in the past could do as quickly or effectively. I'm sure with a few more months that my skin tone will be closer to normal after regular use of this peel. It's definitely a miracle and savior for my situation. Note that after the first week, I think my skin is getting a little better with tolerance for the peel but warning it is strong for underarms. On the first few uses, my skin surrounding the area was very red even after step 2, which is no surprise for the underarm area, so I used a lot of deep moisturizing creams that contained ceramides to balance it out and fix the redness over a few days. Sometimes still I'll skip shaving on the day I'm using the peel to avoid a bad sting but I'm sure it's a matter of growing tolerance now that I'm using it daily. ... show more

I am so incredibly happy with this product and I will be buying again. The crazy part is is that I have very dry, sensitive skin and on top of that I have rosacea. The first time I used it my face was so incredibly dry the next morning so I put Aquaphor on. Highly recommend that if you have very dry skin. But as weeks went on, my skin started adapting better and I don’t ever feel dry after using this product. Because I have rosacea I don’t use these every single day. Listen.. I know these are pricey. They’re an investment, but when I tell you these are the best I’ve ever used… I mean it. My skin glows the next day. It helps get rid of texture and it brightens my skin right up when it looks dull. These are incredible. I was scared to try these when I bought the 5 pack for $20 in Sephora, but I was hooked from the first box. My skin is sensitive, yes, and the gentle formula worked great as well, but my skin adjusted and I worked up to these. They make my face a bit red after, but it’s no big deal, and it goes away. Use a really good moisturizer afterwards and make sure you’re wearing a good SPF in the AM! I don’t find the scent offensive, but it does have a sort of fresh, medicinal smell, if I had to try and describe it? It’s not bad. Bottom line, they’re worth the price. They eliminate so many steps for me. On nights you use these though, do not use any other active ingredients. No salicylic acid, glycolic, lactic, no benzoyl peroxide, etc. because these have all the acids you need for one night. I tend to use a gentle face wash on nights I use these and go heavy on the moisture serums and cream after. I use these probably 3-4 times a week, sometimes less. Just depends. This peel is amazing—my skin is smoother, brighter, and clearer. But when my order arrived, the box was damaged and I was missing 10 treatments. Amazon fixed it fast, but just a heads-up: count your treatments when it arrives!
