    • good CLA option ... if CLA works for you
this was my 2nd time giving CLA a shot. i just wasnt sure if maybe the last time i just tried a subpar option and these seemed like a legit brand and a really solid option. they are, to be honest, i think they are something you can feel safe taking, full of quality ingredients. they are rather large - so something you may have to adjust to, and potentially too large for some people. here's the thing about CLA - it really only works for weight loss if you are not getting enough in your regular diet. if you do have enough CLA from the foods you are already eating - you are just adding extra here. i think i just potentially already get plenty already? i am not sure why it doesn't work for me, but i know it does work for some people. you will know within a couple weeks whether or not CLA is for you. ... show more

Although these pills are HUGE, they are effective. It's difficult to swallow these and I needed to ALWAYS take them with food. At first, these were scary to get down, the pills are that huge. However, after taking both pills (2 per serving) I started to feel my body breaking down the food with a warm sensation. This was a pleasant feeling and actually helped with using the bathroom, which I'm not sure this CLA is intended to do. This feeling is as if you ate something hot and/or had a really good workout… I know that may sound odd but that’s how it felt for me. I really feel this supplement is one of the BETTER ones for weight loss and management. Since I notice the difference once I stopped taking them (which I do to compare to others), I would definitely reorder these. I wish the pills were smaller but I would deal with the end results. ... show more

I've been taking these for 2 weeks and haven't seen any difference. Haven't been eating anything sweet or drinking stuff like soft drinks and or anything else like alcohol. Not impressed and won't get again.

    • Largest gelcaps I have ever taken! Do they work?
MY BIAS: I subscribe to four AmyMyersMD supplements having found the attention to bio-availability and ingredient sourcing to be first rate. So why only 3 Stars? 1. The CLA gelcaps are HUGE! In fairness, I had no trouble swallowing them. I mention the size as a negative because, based on reading many reviews from others, large size is a common complaint about various other supplements. 2. The other deduction is that I didn't notice any positive benefit as regards metabolic rate and thus weight loss. I also didn't notice any difference in lean muscle mass as I do workout daily. On the positive side, if the gelcap size isn't an issue for you, you may notice some of the claimed effects for this supplement. Also...they are reasonably priced! AmyMyersMD products have a premier reputation in the supplement arena so the current price is very fair. ... show more

Overall, I am happy with using CLA as a supplement. I see results, but I also workout and eat "pretty" well. These pills are nice. Have a good amount of CLA per serving. These pills are pretty big. I don't have an issue with them, but just notice the size. Some might struggle trying to get these down their gullet. ... show more

The positive is that it does support reduced appetite and losing a few when I need to. So I supplement with CLA when I'm in drop bulges mode. However, I hesitate to use it long-term as it has an uncertain, perhaps inhibiting role in insulin metabolism—plenty of clinical data to peruse. I've had great experiences with Amy Meyers products.     • Haven't noticed any difference after taking CLA for two weeks.
So far I have not noticed any difference after taking these CLA pills for over two weeks. I know some supplements take a bit longer than others, but so far nothing. Maybe after taking for a month, I will see some results. By the way, these CLA gels are very large. They are the largest of any kind of supplement or medication that I take. Not as easy to take like other pills so drink a lot of water when taking these pills. ... show more
