I am currently in the process of getting back to my natural hair color after being platinum blonde for 2 years!!! I recently went to a stylist and she made me hair look absolutely amazing!!! As expected and she also explained because my base is basically all bleached that the color would wash out easily and the blonde would be again noticeable soon, after a couple of washes after my salon visit I noticed a lot more blonde in my hair again which is obviously no one’s fault but just the process of growing out bleach but I discovered this product and it really helped tone down the bleached parts and made me feel happy with the work she did on my hair, personally I do not mind re applying often since I am used to using purple shampoo but I would imagine a product only left on hair for 3-20mins would wash out quick. Also I completed washed my hair to clean and seriously rung out ALl the water completely even did a towel twist mid shower to ensure my hair was DAMP, I sectioned my hair and applied evenly from root to tips the process probably took around 15-30mins and I let the product sit for an extra 10 minutes. Definitely helpful when you’re trying to cut back on salon visits. I mixed light brown and dark blonde to achieve my desired shade.

Please allow me to begin with a couple positives and qualifying notes: 1. I would almost certainly love this product were I a brunette with reddish highlights. Could be a game changer; 2. My hair was well-conditioned; 3. Blondes inherently know that such a product is a gamble to cover roots. Because this product met my low expectations, I do not feel disappointed. It was worth a gamble. A couple negatives: 1. My short blonde hair shown in the before picture required half a bottle of the expensive product; 2. I am not a brunette. I was a dirty blonde before this product. I am now a strawberry blonde. As my 1” dark blonde roots provided quite a contrast against brassy highlights and I looked like garbage, I wanted to cut back on the ‘given up on life’ vibe my hair was throwing. The stark contrast of my natural hair color against processed blonde does appear less egregious than before using this product. Not great but decidedly less offensive to the eye. But again, this was at the cost of changing my hair color. Two hours ago, my driver’s license description for hair color was accurate. Now it’s not. I hope this review helps one of my blonde sisters. When you look at YouTube and don’t see lighter blondes reviewing, when you read these reviews and aren’t impressed with the results of a few blondes posting, be aware that you will not get the wonderful results about which brunettes boast. You may consider running a query for “blonde” and focus on reviews by our people only. Of the hundreds of reviews I’ve left on Amazon, only 1 received 1 star. I do not recall ever leaving a 3 star. Almost always leave 5 star reviews. For instance, the shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair from this line is next level. It makes every strand of hair feel like it’s wrapped in silk. These reviews matter to businesses so I do not issue 3 stars or under lightly. The only reason I am doing so is to ensure another blonde, who’s perhaps not as mellow as I am about potentially pulling a lot of red, from a bad experience.

I have naturally darkish dishwater blonde hair. I wanted a product to help me grow out lightened coloring without damaging the new hair coming in. I bought Dark Blonde. I think I need the next darker color- maybe light brown? I went by other people's recommendations. Looks like I'll get 4 uses out of the bottle. I have long hair - about 5 inches past shoulders. The first try I went 10 minutes after washing hair, not knowing what to expect. No noticeable difference in color but very soft and shiny. Second use I sprayed hair damp. Left on 20 minutes. Slight color change. Soft and shiny. Third use, sprayed damp and 30 minutes. Hair definitely more honey colored than the light blonde highlights. So to summarize, definitely a nice conditioner/glosser. I need a darker color next time. I do think $35 is a bit much for 4 applications.

Wish I had returned this in the return window. Made my hair look great and I was hoping the welts I got on my scalp after using it were not related. But I kept letting my scalp heal in between and this conditioner made the bleeding welts come back every time like clockwork, even if I didn't apply it to my roots. An expensive mistake.

This conditioner has worked well for me. I have colored my hair since turning gray but when hair began to thin I wanted something less harsh than coloring. My hair is very dry so I don't have to wash too often which helps with the cost factor as the product is rather expensive. I first tried light blonde but found the dark blonde gave me the light color I wanted, changing my hair just slightly from gray to very light blonde. It is necessary for me to leave the conditioner on for a full 20 minutes. Of course, it may work differently on someone else's hair but for me it works great.

Unfortunately this product did nothing to my hair :/ It didn’t change the color or tone at all. I’m not even sure if it added and shine. I used Dark blonde on my light brown with blonde highlighted hair. I was really bummed :( I even tried it twice with differing processing times.

I love this product. I can’t be bothered to be a slave to a salon , so I just use this once per week and it minimizes my grays. Also leaves my hair in great condition.
