I bought the Redken Blondage Color Extend at the suggestion of my hairdresser. This has been the best shampoo and conditioner I have found to keep my platinum blonde highlights a beautiful even color without looking brassy. I have found that it does successfully extend the time between color treatments as well; I can easily go 6-8 weeks by using Redken as compared to 4-5 without. My only complaint would be that it is a bit drying so I have found I have to switch out for a highly hydrating shampoo and conditioner every second or third time to keep it in good condition. It is also important to follow the manufacturer’s suggestions to get the very best results, such as shampooing 2x and leaving the product on for approximately 5 minutes before rinsing for the very best results (if you want to lighten up a bit without the yellowing). ... show more
