  • Beautiful and Versatile, with So Many Features!
This controller is super cool with the light up buttons and ring around the right thumbstick! The feel of these face buttons is by far my favorite type of button press on a controller. They’re not too hard to press (but not too easy) and have a nice tactile pop-back. There are also 4 mappable buttons on the back that have to ability to record macros with multiple inputs, or just be mapped to be a specific button. They are positioned well and haven’t been an issue at all in regards to accidentally pressing any of them. The look of this controller is what first caught my eye, then I saw that it included a printed version of the button layout for Nintendo Switch (BAYX) in the center area between the face buttons. I like that, because the buttons are laid out in the more modern gaming style (ABXY) and they light up beautifully! I planned on mainly using this as a wireless controller for emulation using the included 2.4G USB dongle so I’ll finally have a dedicated wireless option, and it’s a bonus for me to also have the option quickly change over to playing my Switch wirelessly via the controller’s built in Bluetooth. It connects perfectly. There’s also a unique feature that allows you to adjust the height of your thumb sticks. You just lift off the top of the stick and give it a 1/4 turn and pop it back in, giving you different height options. Some like their left stick low for fast movement, and like their right stick higher up for more accurate aiming in FPS games. I like them low, but that’s just me… This controller works with all the platforms I’d be using and it seems to function well for them. It has all the necessary buttons for Nintendo Switch, including the “wake-up” feature. It’s loaded with bonus features like the 2.4g wireless USB dongle with it’s own hiding place on the back of the controller, a detachable mobile phone holder that also works as a nice display kickstand (see my photos.) The phone holder mounts on the top and folds flat in back, out of the way of your fingers when not in use. The button’s turbo options and the controller’s rumble feature are adjustable. The rumble feels surprisingly good. I like it best at 75%. Another feature I don’t want to forget to mention is the d-pad plate. You have the option to play with a traditional d-pad, or if you’re an XBOX fan, you can just pop on the included circular d-pad plate, which attaches easily, stays put nicely and never feels like it’s going to come loose. All these bells and whistles in regards to button options, (i.e. turbo, remapping, macro recording, 4 back buttons, and great feeling LED face buttons) along with the soft touch feel of the controller surface, subtle grip texture on back, adjustable stick heights, removable d-pad plate, adjustable rumble, etc. make this a very versatile controller that looks, feels and plays great. Recommended, for it’s multiple platform capabilities, extra features and good looks! ... show more

  • Honest Review - Do not use with Bluetooth
I've had this controller for over a week now, and it has many pros: feels nice and lightweight, has a great design. I admit I have not tried any of the customizations yet, so I have no opinion on those features. The bracket is a nice addition, as it can be used to hold your phone or be attached the opposite direction so it can be used as a stand or a hook. It cannot be used to hold a phone that also serves as a tablet, nor can it be used with a regular tablet since it cannot support the weight of the phone. If the bracket could extend a little further, it would very likely be able to hold the phone that extends to a mini tablet since the weight is more distributed and the phone is thinner while. open. I've tried this controller both wired and wirelessly. On PC, wireless works great using the adaptor that it neatly stored within the controller. However, using it with some games will not work (depending on the manufacturer support) and may require third party software to remap some keys (i.e., JoyToKey is a great software, it is free to download). You can wire it to your computer to charge it while using it. Connecting it to your phone with Bluetooth is a disaster, because it has a tendency of disconnecting randomly every 1-2 minutes on average which is a NIGHTMARE. While I do have an android phone, these issues will likely occur on other devices as well because it is a problem with the controller's drivers that allow it to operate on the same Bluetooth protocol, which is used on many devices. If you want to use this controller for Bluetooth to connect to your phone, then this product is not for you. I may try purchasing a USB C cable to connect the controller to the phone manually and see if that fixes the issue. Aside from the unstable Bluetooth connection and the bracket length, this is a solid controller with a great design, and I recommend this product. ... show more
