  • Really like it!
I recently purchased the DOYOKY Switch Controller, and I am thrilled with its performance. Not only was it easy to install, but I have experienced no lag or delay in my gameplay. In fact, I would say that it compares favorably to the Nintendo pro controller in terms of quality and responsiveness. The DOYOKY Switch Controller has a comfortable grip that fits well in my hands, and the buttons are easy to press and responsive. The controller also has a built-in gyro and motion controls, which have added an extra dimension of gameplay to my favorite games. I appreciate how easy it was to set up the DOYOKY Switch Controller. It connected seamlessly to my Nintendo Switch console without any issues, and the battery life is impressive, lasting for hours of continuous gameplay. Overall, I highly recommend the DOYOKY Switch Controller to anyone looking for an affordable and high-quality alternative to the Nintendo pro controller. It is a great value for the price, and its performance and ease of use have exceeded my expectations. ... show more

  • Very Good, Only a Few Nitpicks…
This controller works better than the licensed one I have. It’s very comfortable, the lights are a fun touch, I don’t think I’ve ever ran the batteries to empty (I am very consistent with charging it though), it connects quickly, and I like the adjustable vibration feature! The only downsides I have noticed are: sometimes the vibration cuts off the controls momentarily for some reason. This can be fixed by simply turning the vibration feature completely off, but it’s unfortunate when it happens. Also, I wish there was an option to turn the lights off while the remote charges because they are quite bright at night when I’m trying to sleep. I just ordered my second one today because my current one is starting to drift. But, I have played with it for at least a hundred hours of gameplay so it has put in the work! It lasted much longer than my joycons that came with the system. I’d say it’s definitely worth the price. Edit: I have found that my original controller actually is still working great! I had drifty joycons attached that were interfering with the controller, and the controller itself is working fine. But I will happily keep the second one as a backup/extra controller! ... show more

  • A nice third party alternative to some of the other controllers on the market
While very simple in appearance, I really like the understated plain-black look that is livened up by adjustable RGB lighting in the bases of the control sticks. The texture feels really nice in your hands and the whole controller is quite light. After a week of use, it works great still. There is no stick drift. I only have two minor complaints. 1. The battery charging meter doesn't really seem to work. The far-right "dot" lights up and flashes while it is charging and then goes solid when it is done, but the other "dots" don't seem to light up, so there is no indicator on the controller as to how charged it actually is (unless I got a bad one). I suspect there is just one LED and 4 clear plastic windows in the controller for a singular charge-status LED to shine through. 2. I know the Switch doesn't have analog triggers, but I feel like a controller like this would be so much nicer and more useful if it did! I connected it to my PC (very easy to do) and it worked great, but the lack of analog triggers had me switching back to another controller. ... show more

  • Exceeded expectations
I read lots of good reviews on this but it still exceeded my expectations. I wanted a decent trigger travel and these are pretty good! Of course my comparison is with the joy cons so it’s hard to not be better than those! It also wakes up the switch and stays paired after the first time pairing. Great for $20! ... show more

  • Look no further, serious.
So what does this controller do right? It's best if I just directly compare it to controllers I've had on amazon. This controller is reminiscent of the switch pro controller. It's every bit as good as the switch pro controller. You heard me. And I mean this: the buttons feel similar, triggers included. Similar. Perhaps better even. The Action buttons click the same as the switch pro. It turns the switch on and off. So long story short, it's every bit as good as the switch pro, except the price tag basically makes it idiotic to buy a switch controller. I'm serious. I bought a switch pro controller and it had drifting issues. At least if this one has drift issues, you're not out $75 while you return it. Compared to: 8bitdo Sn30 pro 2, the one that looks like a playstation controller. Basically similar quality rumble and buttons. The trigger buttons have slightly more travel on the sn30. But I bought 2 of these controllers and both of them had mushy left paddle buttons. Specifically. I was very displeased. Plus there is no wake on home button for the switch here. They obviously put more effort into making the controller look and feel nicer. In reality, there is no practical difference between these controller's gameplay quality. Gulikit king kong pro 2 Hard pass on this one. Out of four of these controllers I returned, they all had annoying high pitched rumble that was distracting, and two of them had A buttons which specifically stuck after a couple days of use. Everything about this controller is superior in theory, except they spent literally nothing on quality control. That's the issue. They obviously had manufacturer defects with a batch of A buttons, and it flew completely under the radar. It's probably the same thing with the rumble. Sad. Other cheap sub $30 controllers. I have bought them and this controller is not one of them. I was immediately surprised by the quality of the buttons and joysticks which may not look as expensive as the sn30 pro 2 but are equivalent to them. The joysticks on my sub $30 controller did not have accurate tracking and third person shooter games with precise aiming was nigh impossible. Don't expect the buttons to feel like the switch pro or sn30. All I am saying is they are equivalent in quality and performance, so I am never buying any other controller than this for my switch, at least until they raise the price. The switch pro controller is heavier than this one. I had to say that, because apparently that matters to some people. The switch pro is also slightly fatter in the hands and has amiibo support. And yes the click action on the switch pro is definitely superior to this, but it's subtle, and hardly noticeable during actual gameplay. I personally like the L and R buttons on this binbok controller, but they are definitely clickier on the switch pro, and rather than a travelling trigger button, the triggers on the switch pro are straight up buttons. All I'm saying is don't support nintendo's ridiculous price gouging on the switch pro controller. These controllers are proof that the switch pro should cost half what it does. ... show more
