I bought this body pillow on a whim after one too many lonely nights and one too many chiropractor visits. What arrived at my door was not just a pillow—it was a lifestyle change. This thing is 3 feet of pure commitment. Fluffy, dependable, and never argues with me. Name a woman who can offer that. I’ll wait. Night one: I wrapped around it like a koala on Red Bull and slept for 9 hours straight. I woke up in the exact same position, cradled in its polyester embrace, drooling like a golden retriever. Zero regrets. Night three: I accidentally called it “Babe” out loud. My neighbor heard. We’re not making eye contact anymore. Week two: I’m considering adding it to my will. Honestly, if this pillow ever leaves me, I’ll need therapy. Or at least a coupon code for a replacement. 10/10, would spoon again.

I bought this, on the suggestion of one of my nurses, to help me sleep safely and comfortably following spinal fusion surgery. It was between this and a regular sized pillow because I definitely needed to have something to place under my knees when lying on my back. I was also told, to keep my spine properly aligned when sleeping on my side, that I needed to place a pillow between my knees. I'm so glad I went with the body pillow. Not only can I use it under my knees (on my back) and between my knees (on my side), I can also sort of wrap it around my body when lying on my side to have some support behind my back. Optionally, I can align the pillow with my body and "hug" it so it's between my knees and my arms. If this pillow was a really firm one, I wouldn't be able to use it in so many different ways. It's soft and comfortable and I'm so glad I bought it! I also bought a zippered pillow case on Amazon to put over it so it wouldn't slide off. I highly recommend this not just for people recovering from surgery but for anyone with back pain who struggles to get comfortable at night.
