The pillow was softer than I expected, versus my previous pillow, but its still OK and very nice. One reason I purchased this pillow was because it came with a super soft, cushy, quilted zipper cover. This was very nice and enjoyable, for a while. Now, it has "pilled" like crazy, there are fine "angel hair" threads pulling out everywhere. It's kind of a mess.
