  • This is NOT an "AAAAAHHHHH" comortable chair but has a lot of features.
Color: Black-4d
In summary, this chair CHECKS ALL THE FEATURE BOXES but LACKS COMFORT. This manufacturer said - "OK, let's just go through all the featues someone would want, put them in, not worry about comfort, and just sell it." Good strategy because you buy based on what you read in the description based on a feature list. You can't sit in it until you get it, unpack, and assemble. Then, if you don't find it comfortable, how many people are really going to disassemble, pack, and return? Exactly. And the seller knows that. Main points: It lies flat 180 degrees. It does rock a little when flat. It is not a solid chair at this price point. It's fine and it's nice to be able to lie flat. It has the extendable footrest. However, it is cheap. It is not easy to slide in and out. In fact, it's a pain - you have to really align it and push it back in. But it's better than not having anything. It does not extend far enough to support your feet - I am 5'7" and the bottom edge of the footrest is at my achilles tendon so my feet actually overhang. Next time, I am getting a chair with an ottoman where you can just throw your feet up anytime you want, easily. Key point - it is not a comfortable chair to sit in. 4 reasons: first, the back is totally flat and has no contour at all. Same for the seat and this is really annoying because it pushes your butt back and it hurts after a short time. It comes with a back pad and head/neck pad. Both are insecure, shift around, have annoying straps handing all around and are better to just remove altogether as I did. Removing the neck pad now means your head lies on the hard plastic holes. I like the idea of removable features but they should have come up with a better means of securing these cushions. Second, it is not soft. You will NOT sit this chair and say "AAAAHHHH". It is not something you will want to sit in after a hard day. You will sit in it and then try to figure out how to get comfortable. The padding is firm-to-hard thereby exacerbating the effect of the flatness in design. Third, the seat is ridiculously long and it cuts into the top part of your calf/back of knee. There is no way to sit in this chair with your legs hanging down unless you have really long thighs or use the footrest. Finally, the arm rests are a great example of “feature rich, design stupid.” The arm rest goes front back, up down, and turns. Check, check, check. However, each movement is minimal and cannot be locked (except up-down). The arm rests are too far apart to be usable unless you are a chimpanzee with very long arms and every time you reach for the arm rests as you sit, the position gets pushed out. I ended up taking the armrests off completely. So removed the pads/cushions and removed the armrests. I am now left with a long flat hard seat and flat back with plastic where the head rests. There is one benefit to the long seat – it allows you to sit cross legged. This is probably the most comfortable position I can sit in. With the back almost vertical, it gives good support in a yoga cross legged position and I can work at my desk. The wings that come up the sides on the seat are a little annoying and add no value at all. Even if you use this for gaming - who is going to be doing hard Gs and falling off the chair? The chair also rocks (check) and the rocking can be locked so it doesn’t rock (check). It also has a pneumatic lift-lower control. The wheels are plastic and do not work well on a hard floor because the chair moves around too easily. You may want to get real silicone wheels which are quieter and softer so the chair feels more stable. The chair does not have a lot of weight (mostly plastic and little cushioning) so it does slide around on the floor quite easily. Overall, it is not bad for the price if you’re not expecting deep comfort. It is best as a big chair in which you can move around to find a comfortable position. It has all the features but you may not use many of them – like the cushions or armrests. Laying flat is nice and sitting cross legged works well. ... show more

  • DANGER! + MUST BUY EXTRA PARTS. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED
Color: Black-4d
This chair is rocking a bit but it's NOT because of the plastic base. Plastic will STILL break fast once it cracks somewhere. It's unlikely to matter how elastic it is. BUY ANOTHER BASE WITH THAT 2INCH GAS PISTON HOLE WIDTH. Or suffer a fall to your near death experience. THE GAS PISTON is a bit short. You can buy a better one too once yours fails since it can only support what? 300-350lb max? Sure but when you do something like sit to fast and hard or you apply pressure to an angle more than all others.. You might be creating a point where you exert more than your own weight. So you could weigh 250 pounds and spike it up to 360 by doing something wrong. You should get better wheels but this is enough until my 62$ base and wheels come here tomorrow. So this chair, with the discount, is worth around 262$ with the new stuff I am adding… The foam inside is wierd… I left the plastic on the foam inside the back rest piece because I want it to be preserved. If you want the chair to be more breathable then you need to take off the plastic insidr, which I dont think the instructions show you… would be nice if this chair had memory foam… I can almost see myself cutting mem foam and sliding in pieces and taking out the manufacturer cheapo foam… And I am kind of annoyed… because it is costing me extra and making me ask too many questions. Also you need to understand some physics to make sure you screw everything in perfectly. Make sure it's tight so that nothing moves around the screws. Your weight could make them move so be very tight with the screwing… or else the chair will break its internal threads and you'll be screwed instead(lol). Once the threads inside are broken… youcant get them back. It's a beautiful chair and feels good. Arm rests need to be a bit taller for me because I am using a "Purple" cushion. Sleeping 💤 on my back and sitting up straight feels good The back massager is more like a back vibrator. That's kind of good… mostly in terms of circulation. I suggest you buy an sl-232a snailax massager (has pretty much all the features you want in a chair massager besides the legs). This chair has enough support… DESPITE THE THIN WIRES INSIDE THE BACK REST PIECE.. And the holes at the upper area of the back rest piece… are lined with black plastic. Man…. Make it painted chrome… Tch. Make an expensive version of your chair that maximizes quality… Anyway I got tired of looking.. This chair has the features I wanted but it needs improvements. I love the 4d arm rests. Theyre a tiny bit cushiony but you could order one of those gel supports for chair arms… they will likely feel good and obvious add any needed height The foot rest is held by plastic………….. It works fine for now but seriously why tf… I should reinforce them with metal somehow I guess.. Is there a part I can buy. Tch. I confirmed that the base is causing me to rock back and forth a bit, especially from momentum… very dangerous amd will wear out the plastic base…… I dont know where to find a memory foam version of this chair that is more breathable. Would be nice if three different products were used as stuffing for the chair. Like PURPLE gel and cooling gel and memory foam… not this wierd sussy cheapo foam. The chair should have thicker back support but it's fine for now… I can only imagine it aill break in few years.. At leas tht design is great. But you need to spend over $100 to make it better Another thing… this thing doesnt raise up much in height… maybe it's bad for the gas piston because it is literally holding part of your weight against the enclosure of the base… What happens when a gas piston pops? Aw man I am a bit scared lol but I dunno I guess it will just blow legs off a bit while I still fall to my near death experience even though I spent like 60$ on a sussy metal base (the type you build) and roller coaster lock-able wheels ... show more

  • Magical
Color: Grey-4d
So very comfortable. I had questions about this chair that I didn’t find answered in the Q&A section or in others’ reviews. So, here are my answers for those questions. I show a picture of me pressing down on the seat cushion. It is very comfortable. My old chair, the black one pictured on the left, was awful. I felt the metal frame, the wires that held the fabric, etc. When I sit on this chair, it feels like I’m on a cloud. It is very comfortable- no feeling the frame, no feeling metal wires- just cushion. Because it’s leather, it does get a bit toasty on the seat when using for a long time. Not too big of a deal for me bc it reminds me to stand up and take a break. I am 6’, 155 lbs. The chair back rest width is a little narrow for my body frame, however the nice thing is that I can adjust the arm rests to allow me more room. The seat cushion is long enough and wide enough for my long legs. The overall chair height can be adjusted so that my wife’s legs can touch the ground (she’s real short) or so that my feet barely touch the ground. The reclining lever is a little unfriendly in my opinion. It’s hard to know when the chair is locked into place and when it is not. The shipping timing likely needs updating, because it ships from California and it arrived a week earlier than the estimated date. Check FedEx for good updates and delivery estimations on your order. The leather feels nice, the head pillow is as comfortable as advertised and the lumbar support is supreme. The massage feature is like using a gentle vibrating chair or something like that. It feels nice, not much of a massage tho. Also the cord for it is pretty short. Overall, completely satisfied. 10/10 would recommend. ... show more
