A week before I bought this I put together the Official Lego Technic Ducati, with the clip and save coupon I paid about $36 for this set. I paid $70 for the Ducati. [In the included pictures the Official Lego Ducati is the Red one and the BMW set from this listing is the left] I had all of the needed parts, all except 2. A single piece that seems to have been replaced with a very similar one during packaging, unfortunate but it goes in a spot you can't see, and you can't feel the difference without it. I also received many extra pieces (the ones you might usually misplace if you don't finish it all in one day so that came in handy) The instructions felt like I was reading a Lego booklet, the "1:1 piece" prints in the booklet matched the parts exactly as they should have and everything was clearly shown step by step no guess work on your part as to where a piece might go. The stickers were really nice, in my opinion better than what came with the Lego Ducati, there were more stickers and they had more details for example there was a glass flap sticker, and 3 different options for the gauges cluster sticker. You receive neither with the Lego Ducati. It was also weird how this 3rd party company made a way better stand for the motorcycle than the official Lego one, which was too small and too flimsy so the bike doesn't sit on it properly and will easily fall over. But this BMW set has a rock solid stand for the motorcycle. Really disappointed in Lego for screwing that up when this alternative company can do it right. Now the elephant in the room is the piece quality. They were solid, they didn't feel cheap or honestly any different from your regular Lego set. Hell, even the pieces were exactly the same to the point I was getting confused on if this was a real Lego set or not, the only tell was that the blue connectors were a darker blue than the Lego ones. The engine peices, the chain, handles, fairings, EVERYTHING was exactly the same as the Lego Ducati, it was as if the company that made this BMW set somehow got their hands on official Lego molds from the manufacturing plant. The engine and gearbox for the BMW was a carbon copy of the official Lego Ducati everything functioned exactly the same, the pieces to the minute detail were exactly the same. Some of the tolerances can be tighter than you'd like here and there, but it's definitely manageable. A kid might need some help pushing in some pieces every once in a while. Conclusion: For $36 it's an unbeatable price for this BMW M1000RR set, especially after comparing it in person to the Lego Ducati. Were there 2 missing pieces? Yes. But the description says to contact the seller and they'd send you the missing pieces, in my case I found alternative pieces I could use so I didn't need to contact them in the end and can't confirm if they'll actually respond and there's a chance you might not even have missing pieces. I'd say for the price, and the fun I had puting it together, you'd be crazy to skip this set. It's an absolutely fantastic gift for anyone who likes Sportsbikes or motorcycles I can guarantee you that.

This was a birthday gift for my boyfriend and he LOVED it. WAY cheaper than buying from Lego, and the quality is still nice enough. The directions can be confusing sometimes but they’re easy enough to figure out. The size is nice also, took about 2 days to finish. Definitely not a kids set though, too many small pieces. Stickers were cute.

I will start by saying that for what I paid (around $40 plus shipping) this was pretty good buy. I originally planned to buy the Lego Ducati set but with this one being $20-30 cheaper depending on sales, I figured I would step out on a limb and take a chance as many reviews were stating that the two builds were very similar. I quickly found that the higher price tag you pay for other brands is for the peace of mind that you won’t be missing any pieces or find any broken as was the case with this set and many of the sets I’ve seen in reviews. One piece (one of the green pieces for the stand) was deformed and oddly shaped compared to the other 6 or 7 pieces that were supposed to be identical. Luckily I was able to make it work and it still fit. I was also missing one of the smaller pieces that is needed to attach the speedometer plate. In this case I was able to use a leftover piece from a previous Lego build to make it work. But from the moment I discovered I was missing a piece, I was stressed the rest of the build hoping that I wouldn’t come across something else that I was missing. That’s not a great feeling. Another big complaint that I had is that instructions for stickers are at the end and gives reference only after the build is completed. Some of the pieces are difficult to center and place nicely once everything is built so it would be much more convenient to have instructions to place stickers as you’re building to save that hassle and allow for a much nicer finished product. Would I buy from this company again? Should YOU? Probably… overall I am happy with my build and i am proud to add it to the collection. You are definitely taking a chance on missing a small piece here and there but for the price difference compared to other companies, it may be worth the risk.

The media could not be loaded. Nice looking bike overall everything worked out the gears worked. The tires were to chain works the mechanisms work the shocks work nice shelf piece. The colors are nice. Only one thing I would complain is the stickers are very thin and easy to mess up.

Great set. Zero pieces missing, instructions were clear, bricks fit together just as well as any name brand set, and by looking at it you'd never know that it wasn't Lego.
