So I normally use the Dove deep moisture body wash but was excited to try something new from this brand. I didn't find that this wash lathered as much as others. I tried it both on a washcloth and a loofah and it was less sudsy with both methods. The smell is not that rich, clean soap smell that I am used to with dove products. I like smelling fresh when I get out of the shower and I didn't really have any smell hanging over at all. The gritty feeling/exfoliation is best used when rubbed right into the skin with your hand but even then I did not notice any less skin dryness or increase in skin moisture. Overall, this wash was okay but I will stick with the good old deep moisture variety of the dove body wash. ... show more

This body wash feels so nice on the skin and it is lightly exfoliating. My issue is the pump came broken, and won't work at all. The scent also isn't my particular favorite.

I don't know why such companies want to pile on scents in everything and then not be forthcoming about it. I was hoping for something with exfoliant with a light scent. Citrus used to be a safe scent to go with. Amazon has started doing a thing that emphasizes scent on product listings, after some survey I answered, although I don't know why they feel they have to be tricky with their surveys. Anyway, this product says "hint of bergamot" in their unduly wordy and chaotic listing, but it's a slightly citrus version of their fairly strong cheap perfume/vanilla scent with a big hit of piña colada. It's unpleasant. At least it doesn't make my eyes and nose burn or linger like some things do. ... show more
