This topper is really well made. When I opened the package it was air compressed and folded at center. I was worried whether the crease at the centre would not go away see pictures 1. Pessimistically , i let it expand and the crease was gone after the expansion see picture 2. The mattress is around 2.8 inches thick but the material and quality is really good . I am recently looking for to try a memory foam topper. I pulled the trigger with this one specially for the dual-layer design, so far I'm happy because it is soft and supportive, and I can decide which side I want to sleep on! It took less than 40 hours to fully expand to its expected size before putting it on my bed. It had no weird smell, I love that it has a removable washable cover with elastic band straps, so no shifting around on the mattress! The memory foam topper is so comfortable which comfortably cradles the body when lying on it, my sleep has been deeper and better and more comfortable. Fully recommend! ... show more

I have a really bad back from being hit at a red light so it’s hard to sleep comfortably. I purchased a new mattress that is the worst I have ever owned so adding this mattress topper has made all the difference for me, I just wish I had a better mattress under it.

We are very pleased with this mattress topper. It was bought to make a futon more comfortable for sleeping. It has grippy dots on the underside and corner straps to prevent slippage. The foam can be reversed to make it firmer, but we kept the softer memory foam on top. My only advice would be to sell a 4" version that has 2" memory foam on top instead of just 1". ... show more

The mattress topper from Dourxi came nicely packaged and we easy to open. Upon opening the topper began to expand and seemed fully expanded after a few hours (I left it alone for 24 just to give it more time. When out that packaging there was a slight chemical odor common to this type of foam. The odor went away after a few hours ( I did leave a fan blowing on it.) I really appreciate that this topper provides a choice of firmness. I have it on the softer memory foam side right now but plan to switch it to the firmer side when I change the sheets. I like that the cover is removable and washable. The cover is breathable and may help to keep your bed a bit cooler but do keep in mind that foam does hold heat so your bed will be warmer. If you are looking for a quality foam mattress topper this is a good choice. It gives you the flexibility to adjust the firmness and the washable cover helps to keep it clean. The three-inch thickness is enough thickness for decent support and will still fit into most deep pocket sheets. ... show more

This cozy 3 inch thick comfortable topper give my daughters bed height! Topper is so comfortable that she sinks right into the bed. Topper has elastic bands that helps topper stay put. Topper is machine washable and fits right into the dryer.
