I was hesitant at first to buy this chain because of the price ($300), but wasn't finding anything I liked in the standard metals, sterling silver and stainless steel (didn't want gold). I had bought some tungsten rings earlier and thought what about tungsten chains? Well after a long hard search, I found this one. Like I said the price made me think twice but decided to go ahead and bite the bullet. Man am I glad I did. This chain is not for the faint of heart! This thing is heavy, I mean break your neck heavy! I got mine in the 34" size. I am a big man and I must admit I'm a little intimidated by this chain. I put it on and you could easily tell the weight around your neck. (I seriously hope I don't develop some kind of neck problem down the road in life). But the chain is flawless! It is beautiful for a metal that I'll never have to worry about scratching, chipping, smearing, BREAKING, etc. This is a manly man's chain and I can't wait to wear it to see what comments/compliments I'm going to get. I love it already and I still have to find a pendant to put on it, but just wearing it around the house I am starting to get used to the weight and not really notice it until it starts to swing. Tungsten is supposed to be the next "it" thing in jewelry and if so it's nice to get in ahead of the curve. I don't know how much of a sparkle it has because it is not daylight here but I hope it's a decent sparkle when the sun hits it so it can match the tungsten ring I have. If you purchase a longer size chain like mine (34"), don't try working out or jogging in this (and be careful with your late night activity), this chain can knock you out or knock your teeth out if it hits them, trust me! If anyone tries to "jack" me for mine, I'll take it off and beat them with it, that is how heavy and strong this bad boy is.

I purchase a 32 inches of this item from this company a month later I decided that I don’t like the length of this item while my return window was closed I message the company and told them I want to exchange this chain for a longer length and they told me to return this chain and I received my full refund after that I purchase a 40 inches of this item and it came in today. Great quality have some good weight on it very happy with my over all purchase of this product definitely giving this company a 5 star but it’s not enough for me so 10 stars for this company and loving my new chain. Looks great, seems to be more durable and shiny than stainless steel and other traditional metals. As other reviewers have mentioned, It's heavy when you pick up, but you don't notice this after you put it on.

Gold and silver really isn’t my style, so initially l was looking for titanium necklace. But this came up, and definitely looks better. It is shiny, which is good. I got the 18 inch, which is about the size of my collar in a large shirt. The biggest issue people might have is that it’s much heavier than other necklaces. I personally don’t mind the weight. Have had it for a couple of weeks and wearing it everyday. It is still as shiny as when l received it. Very happy with this necklace.

Update: It’s been one year and it’s still a phenomenal chain. The weight is still notable but I almost never think about it. You’ll get used to it, just don’t sleep with it on. I did shower with it on a few times when I first got it and it had no effect at all. I’ve worn it with a tungsten cross every day for over a year now. I would buy it again. It’s been a week and I haven’t had any issues. The 22” is heavy, you’ll notice pretty quick. I’d ignore any shattering reviews as anything made with tungsten can explode if it’s dropped on a hard surface, I’ve had a ring do that. I’m not sure if the pins are tungsten or not but they’re solid so far.

This necklace is very nice - but it is very heavy! My husband loves it! I ordered the 20", not knowing exactly what size to get (he's an average-sized man). At 20", it was just long enough that it swings when he bends over. This wouldn't be a problem with standard jewelry, but due to the sheer weight of this necklace, it had to be shortened. We took it to a local jeweler and had them take out 3 links to bring it to 18" (the links are attached with pins like a watchband). Now it's perfect.

If you don't mind the depleted uranium-like weight, you won't regret getting this one. You don't really notice the weight after wearing It for a few minutes. It's probably more suited for bigger guys, however. It's not as light in color as a stainless steel chain (which makes it look expensive) and has an elegant muted shine. It is close to titanium in darkness only gray (titanium seems to have a slight green-brown tint). One of the great subtle features is that it stays put and does not roll around the neck. You know, when you end up with the clasp in the front after an hour or so? Seller is good about returns/exchanges (you just lose the cost of shipping both ways) and provides fast shipping. I was so excited to get this necklace. It was so heavy and light and it looked really really good so I put it on and then about four hours. My neck started to ache. It did something to my neck muscles. It just made it very uncomfortable. I tried it for a few days and then I had to return it because it hurt my neck so much.
