If you need something really, extremely sticky - this is it. Definitely not renter-friendly, it will mess up your walls if you remove it. If you need something to really stick for a good long time, this is the stuff.

I searched for an alternative to using screws to mount a rain gauge to my composite outdoor deck. The gauge came with a plastic holder with a hollow underside so I screwed the holder to a scrap piece of thin plywood, painted the plywood’s edge white but not the bottom, and let it dry overnight. I lightly sanded and cleaned the plywood base and then applied the sticky side of the double sided tape to the plywood, pressing it firmly for about 30 seconds. I removed the acetate cover and carefully lined it up where I wanted it to overhang on the deck lip, and pressed it flat for another 30 seconds. Easy peasy. The Q&A said the tape is good up to 55C (131F) so it should hold properly. ... show more

I have a wire shelf over my microwave/airfryer. The table they were on was barely wide enough for the shelf legs. I have heavy clear vinyl under the microwave so I used the tape under each leg and don't worry about it sliding off anymore!
