We love our hammok! My husband is a large '6 3" almost 400lb man and the hammok holds him just fine. We currently have the hammok on the 3rd from the bottom notch so we is lifted so boone is dragging on the ground. You can adjust it to sag lower or more firm. It only took about a week to get here and only about 20mins if that to assemble. The cloth is soft also. It had a cool carrying case for the metal stand to collapse in and a cloth bag for the hammok itself. It isn't too heavy for me to haul around. My husband already threatened to take it with us on vacation lol!. I was originally shopping for a stand for my wife's camping hammock so she could use it at home. Our son is a big guy and we wanted to make sure the hammock stand was heavy duty. After researching extensively for a stand we found the name that topped reviews as well as garnering stellar reviews was Zupapa. I searched Amazon and was amazed by this deal. I was able to get both the stand AND a beautiful hammock that even matched out existing patio furniture. I was impressed with how easily and quickly it assembled. The hammock is very comfortable and dries quickly after it rains. Most importantly it supported my 350lb son without the hammock stretching or the stand bending. All of my friends and neighbors have tried it. Now 3 of them have ordered one. I have caught my wife asleep in the hammock more than once. This hammock is perfect for a family. It was so easy to set up. Me and my kid did it within 10mins. I have had this for several months and the material has even held up to Florida's hot sun and hard rains. The colors are bright. The only thing I dislike is until it stretches a little it was very hard to hook to legs. The hammock sits very high until your in it but I don't know how that could be resolved. Maybe if the ropes could lay wider it would sit more opened and not so tight and high. In the end we love this hammock. I had to buy a second one just for my kids so I could have this one. Weight I know it holds with no issues my Daughter and I totaling 360lbs when we both are in it. If you are tall you will have plenty of room to extend your legs. ... show more

I bought this for a place to nap, but after less than a week of light use, the frame bent. I'm a pretty big guy, but well under the 550lbs that they say it will support. It was pretty comfortable before it gave in completely.

    • Frame does not hold 550lbs. Doesn't even hold 250lbs!
After not receiving the first one. I finally got the one they resent. After not even using it for a week. At not even close to the 550lb weight limit. The frame bent and I went crashing to the floor. Max weight on it at once was 250. It was great until it wasn't. Waste of money. I'm so disappointed.

Fantastic. I'm 200lbs and using this as my daily sleeper and lounger. I have had zero issues with assembling and using the hammock with stand. Initially it rubbed against one of the hooks but that was easy to cover and short lived. Side note - I just tied the hammock storage bag around the bolt for protection and so I didnt lose it. Once the hammock stretched out, I was able to readjust it so there was no rubbing. I have bunked down with 2 blankets and a pillow. My cat has joined me several times and my young dog will too. Customer service is fantastic. They were able to adjust my shipping last minute. They stayed in contact until it had arrived and were very supportive of my situation. Pillow/dino plush are on the base due to my elder dog being unsteady and falls easily. It came with the stand, proper equipment to build the stand, hammock with case and a carrying case for the stand. There only down side - which does not have anything to do with the product - is my cat likes to sleep under me now. Due to that, if I sleep too long, in her opinion, I get claws in my butt lol. The only problem, I could guess, would be the frame becoming weak over time if you excessively swing or bounce in the hammock. I'll update this review if something negative happens. ... show more

Love love love this hammock. Im a curvy girl and this thing is so comfortable. It holds both my husband and I. I wouldnt call it portable though in the traditional sense. Its kinda heavy.
