I was eager to purchase this product. Lately however this product has been either freezing during CarPlay to the point it resets itself and lack of sound. The display is amazing though. I love it. Sound definitely sounds better through Bluetooth connection than with CarPlay connection. If you live in a really hot state, Arizona for example, the sound quality of the stereo is low until stereo cools off.

My car is Toyota Matrix 2013. And i use iphone 13. Honestly the fact it has buttons and CarPlay were the two reasons I bought this unit. This double din car stereo was easy to install. It actually replaced a similar unit I bought earlier this year that had a screen that just wasn't bright enough. The unit comes with just about everything you'd expect, including a backup camera and its wire harness. I just know it it works for Hey Siri activation and Bluetooth audio calls. People on the other end say they can hear me just fine. The backup camera are working well so far. CarPlay works great. Despite no external microphone, AND the fact that it's a convertible, apparently people can hear me just fine on calls, as well as Hey Siri activation. I also tried mirror link, it also works well. The instructions are pretty minimal, which, whatever. Most things are very intuitive anyway. I wish it had wireless CarPlay, but alas it does not. So when I want my maps up, I have to plug in a cable. Overall I am pretty happy with the unit. The sound quality is quite stellar. Definitely recommend as an upgrade from a stock system. Hope my sharing is helpful!

Unfortunately this stereo did not work for my 1997 Toyota 4runner even though it said it would fit. Nice features and great price but you will need a dash mount kit to make this work.

Does not fit. Not even close. Too late to return. They are pretty cheap. The unit of standard measurement must be slightly different where they are manufactured as they run large.

This double din car stereo has a lot of features for a mid-range car stereo! I'm using this to update an older car that only had a single cd player in it. I rarely listen to the radio because we don't get radio service very well out in the country. I wanted to get something that I could pair with my phone because I typically stream music. This was fairly easy to install, and I was able to get it up and running in about an hour. I was able to connect my iPhone quickly, and the stereo screen displayed my phone screen. That made operating easy, and there are many more options that I haven't had time to play around with yet. This works well with my upgraded speakers and puts out enough sound for my music. I haven't been able to install the backup camera, but I have a convertible, so I may never hook it up. I did wire it up shortly, though, just to see the image quality, and it looks good. This is easy to install, works well with my iPhone, and the colors are crisp and clear. I recommend it!

It is not the sharpest on the market but for the price range, I didn't expect too much. The installation was not super complicated, i was able to figure out some connection without looking at the manual. I have a standard audio harness so mine worked right out of the box, no adapter needed. There is a little delay on the response time but it gets the job done.
