I have to admit I am surprised at the quality. The handles are covered in a knurled rubber that is solid and somewhat pliable at the same time. They are not thick. The size is good for average hands. They are well designed and work as well as more expensive rowing handles. The paint is ok (if you are worried about that).

Very sturdy and perfectly sized tool for dumbbell exercises! It works great overall and feels durable. The only improvement I’d suggest is reinforcing the attachment lip. When doing chest press exercises, it tends to poke me in the chest. If it were sturdier or could move out of the way more easily, that would make this product even better.
