I absolutely love the look of this ceramic farmhouse sink. The rounded corners give it a classic, elegant feel, and I love the bright white finish. The two bowls are super convenient. I can use one for washing and one for rinsing. It even comes with protective grids for the bottom of each sink, so it won’t get scratched. Plus, it includes a cutting board and a drying rack. The sink is heavy, though, so you’ll need a sturdy support stand if you don’t already have one. Luckily, my contractors didn’t have any issues installing it, and it just completes my farmhouse kitchen perfectly.

Amazon invited me to review this as part of the Vine program. It's a fireclay farmhouse double bowl sink. Fireclay refers to the material. Compared to ceramic, it's fired at a higher temperature, heavier, less porous, and more stain resistant. It is considered more durable than ceramic or porcelain, and has a different look from stainless steel. Since it is heavier, it's important that the cabinet be designed to support this heavier, undermount sink. Note also that it is solid rather than hollow. Farmhouse refers to the style. Fireclay apron farmhouse sinks have this distinctive look going back to the late 1800s in the English countryside and have become a popular upgrade design choice in the last 30 years in the US. It is mounted under the countertop on three sides with no counter in front, meaning that you can step up to the edge of the sink, reaching further inside, with a slightly lower front edge. It also means that faucets are mounted behind the sink rather than through a platform at the back of the sink. Apron front is part of this farmhouse style, with no counter above the sink rim. This sink, as is sometime true with farmhouse sinks, can be mounted with either edge in front, but one edge has a smooth finish while the other has flutes (vertical troughs and ridges). Only one picture in the description shows the fluted side, all the others feature the smooth side. Some farmhouse sinks are single bowl. This one is double bowl with both bowls the same size and depth. It is 10"/254mm tall on the outside with a 9"/227mm depth on the inside. This is a little deeper than a standard 8" internal depth sink, but other sinks are even deeper. Depth is a trade off of harder access but better splash protection. My daughter is putting in a second kitchen and thought this would be a great accent piece. I agree, although installation is more complicated since it must mate with the counter, but be supported from below due to the apron front and the heavier weight. I also appreciate that this sink comes with drains, internal racks (which allow better draining by keeping dishes off the bottom of the sink and can be used optionally,) and a top stainless steel rack as well as a cutting board that can be optionally placed on top of the sink. These accessories can be hard to source because of fit issues. Whether you hire a contractor or install it yourself, you can look forward to an eye catching stylish feature for your kitchen once you've completed the project.

This is one of the best sinks I've had the chance to review. We do a lot of renovation so I'm pretty familiar with the major brands as well as a wide variety of types and sizes of kitchen sinks. I was a bit skeptical considering this is a no-name brand that will likely not have any support long-term (like if you have issues with it), but I think the price is so good that that is a decent risk to take. Something I love about it is that it's thinner and sleeker than some of the other ceramic/farmhouse sinks I've seen. It doesn't feel chunky or heavy, but rather modern and almost delicate! The accessories are well made, not afterthoughts, and the 33" size is pretty standard so should fit well in existing cabinets if you're just replacing a current sink. Long term I can't say how the ceramic will wear, if it'll discolor or get scratches, but that is just something you accept will happen with this material, like getting marble countertops - it's meant to be used and it's ok if it looks like you live there! :)

I'm a very big fan of fireclay sinks for a lot of reasons. They are stain resistant, built to withstand a bit of damage within reason. look phenomenal with a smooth finish and are quiet compared to their metal counterparts. This sink checks all those boxes. It's very large and well built and on top of that it has workstation features to make it more versatile. Installation is fairly simple just be sure the sink is plumb and supported properly or you may get stress cracks and fissures down the road. Be weary of cast iron as you can scratch the finish if you are rough with them. For the price the sink is great. Until We Meet Again -Off the Grid Ken

This sink looks high end and feels extremely solid. The fireclay material is thick and the finish is smooth with no rough spots. Both basins are deep, and the workstation design adds extra functionality. It’s heavy, so installation takes some muscle, but once in place it looks amazing. Great quality and strong value if you want a real farmhouse style sink.

This is a super heavy duty and beautiful farmhouse sink. I like the clean look in front more than the striated back, but to each their own. It's nice to have options. I had to figure out how I would mount it with the new countertops, but a couple of videos online gave me the info I was lacking. It really is quite beautiful and super spacious. I like the sink protectors in the bottom because I know this white would get dinged up over time. The cutting board is kind of cheap, but not a bad idea if you are low on countertop space. I will probably get rid of it eventually since I have my other cutting boards that are larger. The plumber did complain about the drains being difficult to get leak free, so, besides that he didn't have anything else to say. I'll update if that changes.
