Other than that, they function well and give you lots of options for adding detail to your creative clay work. They come in handy for any artists supply stash. This is a set that should have been split into two different sets and sold separately. Since it was packaged as one, I had to rate it as a whole. When really one set would have been 5 stars and the other maybe 2 stars. The first picture I posted shows the ball tools. They are very durable, completely solid and very functional. An absolute 5 stars. The second set of shaping tools is alright. The metal tips and pen length are good. It's the silicone ends that ruin it. Right out of the package, two of them were broken and two others were seriously dented. It also looks like the silicone tips aren't anchored in very well. I am getting this sculpting tool for my rental properties' wood surface repair work. Some of my rentals have hardwood floors. I use wood fillers to repair small holes or scratches left by tenants on the floors. These sculpting tools help me do detailed shaping work on the wood filler before it dries up. These sculpting tools are especially effective in shaping the wood fillers for scratch-related repair work.
