Great journal for the price. I only wish there was a pen loop! Otherwise, amazing quality paper. Basically no bleed through from any of my normal pens. Haven't tried brushwork in it yet.

I don’t know what everyone is smoking when they say this was an excellent bleed proof journal. I decided to take a break from my moleskin dotted bullet journal to try something new. I was stoked to get this journal after reading the reviews, but all was short lived when I saw the true durability. These pages are very bleed proof, and the spine is flimsy and the cover feels cheap. I don’t think this is a durable option for a bullet journal. If you are a serious bullet journal keeper I suggest looking elsewhere. ... show more

    • Fantastic Books at a Great Price
I have used most other brands of writing books in this style and they have all been good but significantly more expensive than this Dot Grid Hard Cover Journal. I am fussy about paper because I write with fountain pens 95% of the time and I have no problems with ink seeping through the pages with these books (unlike some of the more expensive competitors in the marketplace.) The paper is smooth and fine point fountain pens write on it as though that were designed with these pages in mind. I use these at work for notetaking and because of the number of books I get through a year, I have tried many others to try and find a top rate book at a reasonable enough price for me to use them year-round at work. Now I have found these I will continue to buy them. Last year, I used a Rhodia blank book for my bullet Journal. I was searching online for the same Journal when I came across this one. In reality, I thought I was buying the same thing. When it came and I compared the two journals, I realized that they were not the same brand. That being said, the quality is excellent. The paper is nice and smooth with a dot grid. It is heavy and does not bleed through. It feels very nice to the touch, both the paper and the cover. The main difference is that it is not as wide as the rodia. As you can see by the photo it is probably three eighths of an inch narrower. The pages lay nice and flat, The Binding is nice. I am very happy with my purchase. This is a great journal. It is similar to a Moleskine...sewn, but doesn't lie quite as flat. That's OK with me because this bojo is going to be tossed around alot. The paper quality is great. great little notebook. Not too big for taking to meeting without it sticking it. The pages are very thick, so that even my fountain pen will not bleed through the pages while writing in it! I can take it with me to lunch meeting without it being too big or taking up too much space. nice addition for networking meetings and note taking that I can easily take every where with me! ... show more
