READ THE WHOLE REVIEW FOR THE 4-STAR RATING. This is a second update to my initial review - I received this smart watch on July 12 and started using it that afternoon. The main features I like are the size for my wrist and the many options for setting a face/home screen with a style and the features I most want displayed. It is now July 20 and I have a few issues with the device that you may want to consider. First, is that the instructions say to fully charge the device before using it. I attached the charger and the device displayed that it was 100% charged, so it took the charger off. It died in the middle of the first night. Despite the claim on the Amazon web site that the device fully charges in about 20 minutes, it took over 2 hours to fully charge. I don't turn it on a lot during a normal day of use, so it might make it to 5 days between charges, but no longer than that. The main issue is that it does not accurately track my sleep. Not counting the first night when the battery died, I have worn it for 7 nights now. On only ONE night did it accurately start tracking my sleep when I fell asleep. Every other night, it showed that it did not start tracking my sleep until at least three hours after I actually fell asleep. This is not one of the most important features to me, but I would like for it to work as advertised. Also, the temperature setting will not stay on F instead of C. Every time I set it in the H Band app then close the app, the G2 reverts back to C. Also not a big issue for me. I e-mailed DoSmarter today to request technical support. I had a personal contact assigned to deal with my issue and that person told me that DoSmarter is working on an upgrade to improve sleep tracking. The rep also offered to give me a partial refund for my inconvenience - it today's world that is unheard of in my experience. That is far better service than I ever received with two other of the top name brands of other fitness trackers I have owned. So, I upgraded my rating to 4 starts. ... show more

    • Sleep Tracker not tracking correctly

I bought this watch to replace a different branded one I'd bought. I immediately liked this more, I like the setup, how easy it is to use and the swipe function to go back and forth between screens. My one con right now is the sleep tracker. It was working fine but I've noticed the last few days it's been tracking my sleep a day behind or not at all. So for instance, today is 8/29/23. I should have a sleep record for 8/28/30 but I don't. It didn't track last night even though I wore it to bed like I always do. My last recorded sleep was 8/27/23, so it basically indicates I didn't sleep at all last night. I'm guessing it's going to either not track or record my sleep tonight as 8/28/23 instead. It was tracking perfectly normally the last two weeks I've owned it but I just noticed it the last couple of days. I don't WANT to reset my tracker because that will mean losing all of my previously recorded info for everything but if it keeps doing this I might have to. I knocked off a star because of the sleep tracker, it's an odd issue to suddenly develop. Other than that it's a decent watch and I really like it. I bought this tracker for keeping track of my steps and sleep mostly. I don’t use the phone, text and app notifications. I like that the strap is a soft flexible silicone that feels nice on your wrist. The sleep tracker and step counter seem accurate. So does BP, although my doctor says wrist BP devices are not as accurate as a BP cuff, so keep that in mind. The watch needed to be charged, as it was at zero percent, before I could pair it with the app. The turn wrist detection is not working today. It worked for a short while yesterday when I first got the watch but not today. It’s not supposed to work between 10 pm and 7 am or so but it’s 8 am and still not working. I’m familiar with this feature as I’ve had several watches/trackers that have it. I’ve never owned a tracker where this has happened, so I’m a little disappointed that I have to press the little button on the side every time I want to see what time it is. Hence the 4-star rating instead of 5. I’m also familiar with the HBand app as I have used it with previous watches as well. I like the app. All in all, it’s a nice affordable tracker. Update: I adjusted the sensitivity on the turn wrist detection setting on the HBand app from 5 to 9 by clicking on the icon to the left of the words “turn wrist detection”, changed the setting and saved the changes. I bought this watch to replace a FitBit I'd had for over a year but which I couldn't read the face in the daylight. This watch is a nice size, although it's a bit thick for a digital fitness watch (I find myself hitting it on things that I pass). Watch face is very easy to read, even outside in daylight (many faces to choose from). The features are nice, but I don't believe the blood pressure is correct (believe it's reading low. I don't understand how it could accurately pick up a BP anyway). Heart rate and SpO2 seem accurate. However, the SpO2 doesn't track continuously i.e. while I'm sleeping (which I was very disappointed with since it advertises 24/7 monitor for even that function). The pedometer works well. I like the sedentary reminder, but the app won't let me set it for any later than 6pm! Would be nice if I could set it for more like 9pm (to stop notifying for the day). The "turn wrist" to show time doesn't work well at all (it just runs the battery down more quickly). The app is a bit confusing as far as finding settings, etc. I'm very happy I was able to find a different watch band to replace the awful silicone one it comes with.. they get so sweaty so easily. Not too difficult to change the band either. This is an inexpensive fitness tracking watch and it was definitely worth what I paid for it. ... show more
