The first thing I noticed out of the box is it’s more of an ivory than white. The paint is also pretty thin where you can still see some of the wood grain through it pretty much every where. That’s really my only complaint. My five year old won’t care though. There are only like 21 wood pieces besides the slats. There are lots of screws and it feels very sturdy it’s lightweight, and I can maneuver it around really easily. It was really a piece of cake to assemble. Probably an 1.5 hours total after getting it all unboxed. Trying to assemble it by myself is what made it take a little longer. It would have been much faster if I had someone hold the other side while trying to attach three long pieces. The one thing that I didn’t notice until I was putting it together is the height underneath is maybe 2 to 2.5 feet. Smaller than I thought, but it will still work for our daughter. It did take some time for the instructions but this is definitely a two person job to hold things up. It is perfect for my 5 year old. Make sure to have grips for the legs if there is a slippery surface. The color is perfect.

My 4 year old loves it! It's a nice hight, has a fun area underneath for storage or a play area. We added some LED lights under the bed frame and our son plays underneath or reads. Some of the holes were not pre-drilled or only partially drilled but wasn't a deal breaker for us. We did flip the ladder to the opposite side. Takes a little planning but wasn't too hard. Took about 1-2 hrs to assemble. Comes with easy step by step instructions and hardware, all we used was a screwdriver and tools it came with. Perfect set up and space saver for the kiddo, can't wait to set up the underneath "play" area. Definitely a great buy!

Pros: 1. It arrived early, which was unexpected considering the wild weather! 2. It was decently easy to put together (did it solo) and the holes are mostly pre-drilled with exception of the slats. 3. SUPER sturdy. I'm not sure why so many reviews say it isn't, but ours is solid and isn't wiggly at all. Cons: 1. Slightly lower than I expected, which is definitely user error. I couldn't fit the cube organizer under it but that's okay, we made it work. 2. The ladder is not interchangeable, which I'm sure it stated somewhere but my brain did not perceive this information so replacing the bed became rearranging two small rooms. All in all, I'm very happy with this and can't wait for my 6 year old to try it out!! ... show more
