I rarely write reviews but I read a lot of reviews before purchasing because it’s a big piece of furniture and it would be a huge pain to return if it was junk. Kids are hard one things so I didn’t want to overpay for something that will undoubtedly get scratched and banged up. For the price it’s a good deal. Took me roughly 6-7 hours to put together… about 4.5 to make the two twin beds then another couple hours to finish everything. I took my time and read the directions closely. I did it by myself until I needed my husband to help lift one bed on top of the other. My only issue is the wood is pretty soft. If you tighten the screws to much it quickly smashes the wood. I scratched off the stickers with my finger nails and it definitely dents easily. But again, great deal for the price. It looks good and seems pretty sturdy. ... show more

This is my second bunkbed, the first one I paid double on Wayfair and the quality was bad. This one is very sturdy and everything was in great condition. The color is more off-white but I Love it. To assemble the stairs be sure to follow the instructions is kind of tricky.

Pros: the size of it fits my kids room great. The color is nice and goes with a lot. Cons: received the wood a little damaged. A few cracks and dents. It took a long time to assemble and was a bit difficult. However, the damage isn’t severe and it was still a good purchase for the price.

We got these for our 13 and 14 year old kids. The bed comes in a million pieces and really works best if two people are there to assemble. The quality is good. Very sturdy. However, if you have mattresses greater than 8 inches tall, they will be too big to have the safety rail work properly up top and if you have a taller kid on the bottom, they will not be able to sit up. We bought new 8 in memory foam mattresses and that fixed the issues. I would recommend this bunk bed for sure! ... show more

I noticed a strong chemical smell as soon as I opened the box. I figured it would fade within 24-48 hours. It’s been a few weeks and I can still smell it- causes me a headache if I stay in my kids room for too long. I’d return it, but it’s not worth the hassle. It took two people to put together, so not too hard. Wood is a bit flimsy, so I feel it’s best for younger kids, not teenagers. If you need something durable and can withstand older kids’ weight, I’d look elsewhere. Gave it a 3 star so ease to put together, looks nice and good for price paid. ... show more

Muy feliz con esta litera. Mis hijas están encantadas. Compre un colchón de 8’ y la varilla de seguridad funciona perfecto con ese tamaño. Lo único que le agregaré será una cinta antidezlizante a la escalera, pero le doy cinco estrellas a esta cama! Tiene un buen tamaño incluso para un adulto. Where to begin! I rarely leave reviews but this was one I could not pass up. Looking back, I should have listened to the other reviewers. I figured it was worth a shot for a measly $200. Boy oh boy was I wrong. We received this (single- that should’ve set alarms off there) package excited to put it together and “gift” it to our children in their new bedroom. Luckily it was a surprise and we were able to send it back without them knowing it existed in the first place. The fact this bunk bed isn’t offered by IKEA is shocking. Every piece of wood you see in the photo is separated, they must save a fortune in labor costs! In the midst of us fingering through the 200 wooden pieces this package of sadness contained, you could’ve cut the tension in the room, and this bed- with a butter knife. This wood is SOFT. Think Trump hair breezing in the teeniest gust of wind soft. There were splits, nicks, dents, cracks and slivers of wood galore. One of the bottom bunk supports came with a severe crack/split rendering it completely useless. Even if it had not come that way we still wouldn’t have trusted this bed due to the poor fixtures and the cosmetic damage. Our bottom bunk child would have been flattened into a pancake. We packed it up and had UPS come for pickup the very next day. Do yourself and your children a favor and stay away from this brand. Their support website asks for each part name/number for a replacement which means you’ll be doing a whole lot of looking and typing. Sending a message and a photo isn’t optional which probably means they get a whole lot of complaints in their inbox to begin with.
