I used this tool to remove existing lawn since I decided to plant new this year. This tool solve the purpose well. Just remember to soak the lawn well so that at least 2 inch sand below lawn is wet when using this tool. It will make life more easy.

It works well, but the edges could be a bit sharper. The weeds do not return for quite a while, as least for me. It is going to take some elbow grease, and you will be sore for a while if you have a lot of weeds, but that is expected with any manual weeding method.

I plan to try using this more next spring in my garden. I believe it will work best with ground that’s freshly worked. Definitely helps knock out so stuff now, but not as easily. I love that tooth sides are sharp. Not sharp enough to cut your fingers but sharp enough to do some damage to grass and weeds. The corners are great for bigger clumps of grass and larger weeds. Can’t give it five stars until I’ve used it more as a maintenance tool. The pole will start to unscrew but if you tighten it up and are wary of turning it the wrong way, it does just fine ... show more

I bought this for my mother. I have used it more than her basically because I do all the work lol. Best thing I bought for weeds. It's light weight, adjustable to size it twistes off, it is metal. It's like it has a sharp blade only way I can explain it. It will clear weeds out in know time. It scraps the top an roots come along with it. After I do that I spray weed killer for anything that it misses. Way better the hand pulling weeds. And saves so much time. Go get your self one you won't be disappointed. ... show more
