I was shocked at how expensive some cable machines can be. This is a great machine with features normally found on those $2,000+ machines, but this is far more affordable. CONSTRUCTION: High quality. Big thing with a machine like this is steel thickness, joints, fasteners, and welds. Steel's thick, welds are surprisingly nice on all the joints. Very solid. The finish on the metal good. Simple but effective powdercoat. All the threaded holes are tapped nicely, no bolts went in tight or cross-threaded. Bolts are quality, too. No soft threads. Nothing warped or cracked when tightening with an impact gun. Alignment on all the posts and joints were on point, too. Once assembled, it's rock solid and doesn't shift or wobble or shake. CABLES/PULLEYS: High quality, too. Smooth rolling, no binding or popping. Cable assembly is well thought out, if a bit of a brain-teaser on assembly. Carefully note which pulleys to use, and where. FEATURES: Really pleasantly surprised at how complete this machine is. Only thing lacking is a pull-down single pulley in the center, like there is on the bottom -- but you can just raise one side to the top and there's your pull-down. Lots of attachments included, which is nice. I didn't feel like I was missing anything that I'd need to run different cable exercises. All the included attachments look and feel exactly like the stuff at my local gym. Good quality chains, bars, handles, straps, and carabiners. ASSEMBLY: Do yourself a favor and get a ratchet with the right Allen-head socket (6mm), and a 5/8" box wrench. Even better if you have a little 1/4" impact gun. It'll save you an hour or more on assembly. Instructions were clear enough by just following the pictures and noting which bolts to use. Keep close track of the bolts in their packaging -- they're shrink-wrapped to cardboard with labels. DON'T DAMAGE THE LABELS. You need to know which bolt #'s to use and where. Took about 3 hours to put it all together.

I've gone to public gyms for 15 years. Having a garage gym now, it's kind of hard to fill in all the gaps that the public gym fulfilled. Power racks and all that stuff is great, but a good cable machine really fills the voids. This machine is great! It's not powder coated with a weight stack, but it is still fantastic. Seems smooth and durable and makes home workouts so much better with the endless possibilities it can be used for. Packaging could've been better done. Their were some gashes in the metal, but nothing touch up paint can't solve. There was a missing bushing, but customer service was great about getting it sent asap, as well as compensating me for my troubles. Assembly is easy as far as the frame, but the cable assembly itself took some diligence...but the instructions did a good job helping to figure that out. I was able to assemble it alone in about 4-5 hours taking my time (and plenty of nicotine breaks) Overall, it's very much worth the money. I would recommend it for sure.

I honestly had my doubt when purchasing, but I am glad I did. The pulley system is very smooth, the instructions and video are clear and simple, and the machine is stable and secure! It does take up quite a bit of space, but not so much to where it is a burden, it still remains convenient. I am able to train at multiple degree heights doing exercises such as cable chops, cable lifts, all kinds of rotational exercises and pulls. Basically pretty much everything I could do at a typical gym on a functional training machine I can do on this. The assembly took me about a week, but that is also because I have an extremely busy work schedule and I am not the best at assembly. This product made it easy for me though. I highly recommend it!

Pretty solid plate loaded cable machine. REALLY fast shipping and tracking information. Packaging was really solid. Here is my honest review. A few of the part brackets were bent and had to be bent back straight for install. Also some of the paint started to crackle (nothing was over tightened) Hardware was all included and easily labeled however no wrench was supplied (no big deal). Instructions were decently written but was easier to look at the pictures instead of reading it. I put it together alone ... and do no recommend. 2 people would be best as the directions state. For the functionality of this machine, so far I have done 4 exercises on this and it seems to work as designed. It is a little wobbly, but not bad AT ALL.. its due to the height. If the pully is all the way in the lowest setting and you are pulling upwards with a heavy-ish weight.. the front will lift off of the ground (think goblet squat with the square handle) If it were bolted down this would not happen. Attachments supplied are pretty decent quality. The long pull down bar is really nice, as well as the square attachment. Lastly please note that the cables are different from right to left. The right side has a U style with a bolt through for a chain to be connected. The left is a traditional eye-loop. I do not think this will be an issue when doing chest fly's. Would for sure buy again for the price point. Am a happy buyer.

For the price, 5 stars is given based on the strength of the unit itself. However, pulleys need to be better. I would say when buying, I would evaluate if you would be comfortable buying the unit and replacing the pulleys down the road, then it's a good unit. Although I haven't replaced the pulleys yet, but the pulleys aren't consistent. Worth buying the unit and replacing the pulleys as your budget allows.
