Very pleased at the quality and versatility of this amp. It’s definitely got more than enough power for my usage, haven’t needed to turn the volume past 3. The bluetooth paired to my phone very easily, which will make playing along to streaming music much easier as I don’t have a headphone adaptor. Used the aux input for my ipod, and have tried a drum machine and bass guitar in the standard inputs. Though I haven’t had a chance to set up with my electronic drum set I have no doubts it will work great in that context. The sound of the amp has a great bottom end, and clear highs as well. While you won’t mistake this for a studio monitor or hi-fi speaker, it’s a solid tone for a practice amp and seems to cut very well. It is a fantastic bass practice amp for me, and I also plan to use with my vintage synth and electronic drums when I have a chance to set them up again. The number of inputs and built in bluetooth make it unnecessary to use any external mixers for my purposes, solo practice and songwriting. The covering of the amp is great, it’s got a tough semi-rubbery texture and I was very pleasantly surprised by it’s feel. Switches and knobs are solid and the metal speaker covering seems very tough as well. Overall it definitely punches above it’s weight. One thing to note is that there is a laptop style external power brick. Also, the included instrument cord is solid and works well, it’s a nice bonus. The shipping box was well packed and protected. While not flashy, this amp is very solid feeling and versatile especially given the price point. This will be receiving a lot of use in my small home studio / office. Seems like it would be a good portable karaoke amp too (just need an xlr to 1/4” adapter and mic). Very happy with my purchase, Donner knocked it out of the park with this amp.

I sent mine back because my need disappeared. But I tried it out and it worked and sounded wonderful. Plenty of undistorted sound for a 30 x 50 room. BT connected easily. The only comment is the volume control is a bit wonky. The spring loaded operation is just cumbersome and unnecessary. Otherwise it seemed to be a fine speaker/amp.

I have been wanting an amp to use with my Roland TD-4KP for years now. I am not a pro drummer and had no intention of spending the crazy money for a drum amp just for a practice tool. While earbuds are OK, they are not ideal. IEM's sound much better, but completely eliminate external sound. This unit allows me to plug the TD4 in and with the second input, I can also hook in my SPD-SX as well. That's a pretty powerful, ultra compact, ultra portable drum system. In a 14'x21' room, It is more than loud enough for my purpose of practice, and mid level room jam. With the DI, which I have not tried yet, the volume should be easily scalable. Sound quality is slightly better than I expected, but I had low expectations. Audible was the goal. Realistically, I see no need for Audiophile sound quality in a unit of this type. The bluetooth worked very well and has its own level for volume separate from the (2) main Inputs. I cannot see how Donner does this as well as they do, at the price they do. More features than Roland and almost 1/3 the price? I have not tried the Roland models, but they would have to be absolutely stellar, and light years beyond the DDA-35 to be even remotely worth their price difference. I feel I got every penny's worth from this purchase. Well done Donner!!

For the money, this little box is pretty kick ass!! I'm impressed with the sound quality and power. Crystal clear sound and it gets pretty loud. I'm gonna buy another and run two.

I picked up an electric drum set a couple of months ago and have been playing it through my bass amp. Since we want to be able to play drums and bass together, I sprung for a dedicated drum amp. I chose this one because it's from the same company that makes the drums (Donner) and the price was fantastic. What you get, however, is so much more than just a drum amp. The size of the unit makes it super portable. The dual inputs are a really nice touch and the Bluetooth connectivity is amazing. Each input and the aux in have their own volume knob. Bluetooth input volume is controlled on the device (phone, iPod, etc...). So far, I have used this with the drum set, of course, and it sounds great. It's nice to have a dedicated amp for the drums and this part works as expected. The bass drum sounds full and low and the rest of the drums sound good, too. I'm new to the electronic drum arena so there's not a lot more detail I can give here. Where this amp really shines, though, is the other uses we have put it to. My kids were putting on a "show" in the living room and I was able to hook up a couple of microphones to the input for them to sing into along with music that I was able to play over the Bluetooth connection. For this, you need a microphone with 1/4 output (I used a wireless mic system). After figuring this out, I now plan to use this to speak in front of an outdoor field trip. Since everyone has to be spread out, having a mic and speaker will allow me to be heard. I have not tried running a microphone into the Aux-in jack, yet, but if that works, I will update... Overall, the closest thing I could find didn't even have all of the features of this amp and was twice the price. I would have spent the money anyway but if I had known all of the features that this has, I wouldn't even hesitate to do it all over again.

I thought that I'd need a biggest one if I wanted to get fidelity. But it actually surprised me when I try it for the first time. My drum set sounds incredible and the volume is more than you need for practicing, even with your band. I actually think that is perfect for interior performances, but haven't try that yet. Anyway, I highly recommend this amp if you are looking for practicing with a professional sound.
