This is honestly very good for what you are paying. I didn't expect a perfect stool at this price point, but it's still good. If you tighten down the bolt that holds the seat to the pedestal the seat won't rotate, leaving the bolt a hair loose so it can rotate the seat is a touch wobbly. The legs seem sturdy, and the rubber feet work well. The tool included works to tension the heads on my electric drum set just fine. The drum sticks are ok, I have better ones already though. I'm 6'1 245lbs and the seat works fine for me. I wouldn't expect to be able to lean around on this very much but for sitting on it how it's intended, it works well. I'm happy with it, it does what I wanted, I just wish it would swivel.

Needed a throne quickly and was short of money, so this is the option I took advantage of. It has pre-set height levels, which are probably adequate for most but I just have not found my sweet spot. I can't blame the stool because it could be my kit set up as well. I'm trying out variations. The seat is comfortable enough (I'm light weight), and it does spin around. A little creaky noise but doesn't bother me. This was a good option for now but I have back issues and one day I would like to get the throne that is split and a motorcycle style seat but this has served well for now.

Been drumming for 15+ years and I bought this for my kid. I will say the seat and sticks are a good for a starter set. The seat is pretty sturdy not a lot of cushion, so good for a practice session. Definitely not a gig session throne. Best bang for your buck. Size is a bit too big for a junior kit great for everything bigger than a junior kit.
