It’s a great oil! I just don’t care for the smell. I wanted spa, tropical, fruity. It’s more a medicinal fragrance to me. But the oil itself feels wonderful on my scalp.

Listen! As an African American woman i have used every hair oil on the market and nothing, I mean NOTHING compares to Donna’s Recipe. I am such a huge fan of this entire hair care line. This oil has blessed my hair with length, strength, and thickness. Oh and my scalp!! My scalp has never been so healthy. I use to suffer from dandruff a lot, but since I started with this i no longer have that problem anymore. I’ve been using it for over 6 months and I’m in love!! I wash my hair once a week with Donna’s shampoo & conditioner. I apply the oil 2-3 times a week. Sometimes use it as pre-shampoo. It’s light and doesn’t weigh my hair down at all. My hair can’t do heavy oils. The only con is the price. But, it’s not really a “con” for me, because it’s worth it the results for me are amazing and must say that it does last me for a good month and half. A little goes a long way, so don’t over saturated your hair with it. ... show more

I’ve been searching around for something to help my frail edges….braiding has not been good to it, with nothing to lose I decided to try this product its not too expensive, so if it didn’t work I had nothing to lose. However, a month in and I’m seeing fuz around my hairline… I have to be patient, but so far so good. And I like Tabitha’s products. ... show more
