  • Sturdy and well made
This is a great bed. Very sturdy and the kids love it! It's got a very rustic and hand made feel to it which I love. Only downside is its not very easy to assemble but once it's together it's not going anywhere. I did have one piece of the bottom support break because of a knot in the wood and their customer service sent a new one out immediately. ... show more

  • Cute bunk!
It took my 17 yr. old daughter and I about 2-3 hours to assemble. The directions were easy to read/follow. The bunk is super heavy and seems quite sturdy. It doesn't look like it's going to be PCS (military move) friendly though. But that's alright. I hung little curtain rods in it and made some curtains to match the sheets. I modified the pink ones to slide on the rods too. I just love the color and look of the bunk and my granddaughters love it too. ... show more

  • Good bed frame would use a better paint job.
I want to say this bedframe is absolutely wonderful sterdy and my girls love it! It took my husband and I about two hours to completey put it together. As time passed as we built the bed we found only two things we didn't like about the bedframe. All the splinters and peeling/chipped paint. I was ready to repack it up and return it. But my babygirl begged me not to return it as she loved the house bed, I wish there had been more care put into it with the painting. A Twin Bedframe from Walmart would have cost me 100$-200$ with an outstanding paint job. This IS the only twin bed I found however that was completely on the ground bunk bed. I was able to turn the bottom bunk into a crib for my 10 month old and she loves that her big sister can easily join her in her bed anytime they want with out having to wait on me to help. ... show more

  • Pretty bed for girls room
Total of 3 packages and Fast delivery. Not too hard to assemble but definitely need an extra person to finish the job. Instruction is pretty straight forward. An electric tool will help speed up the process. The bed is pretty sturdy. I am able to climb up the upper bed without any problems. I weight about 125lbs. The tents will fall off, but it’s an easy fix. ... show more

  • My kids love it!
We searched far and wide. Found the best price on Amazon. My kids love this, and it was well worth the purchase price. My husband ended up screwing the velcro on for the curtains, and it keeps them from falling off. It didn't seem too hard for him to put together (which he did by himself!) We opened it in our garage to let it sit for a bit because other people mentioned a smell. I think the smell is just the paint and being closed in a box for so long... it sore off quickly. I was worried at first because of the reviews of others, but it ended up being fine. The only thing I don't love is that it's hard to get.out of the bottom bunk if you're snuggling a kid. The ladder in the middle makes it hard getting in and out. ... show more

  • Great buy
Beyond pleased I bought this bed. My daughter wanted a bed with a slide, lucky for me those models were out of stock when I decided to purchase. The bed is well made, relatively easy to assemble, and is super cute. Love the solid pine wood! Thanks!

  • Great bed. Missing parts.
*update. New part was sent. Was supposed to be here Saturday, then today. Still no package. They chose to use fedex which isn't reliable at all. My daughter has been disappointed three times now. Love the bed. Was easy to put together however it was missing a crucial part. Had a very disappointed little girl on her birthday. Contacted customer service and they are sending the missing part. If you are planning on surprising someone with this bed make sure all of the parts are there. ... show more

  • Dangerously flimsy
Dangerously flimsy. Flimsy flimsy flimsy. Beware. Most of the construction involves 'self tapping' blunt nosed screws into ultra soft pine. There are only 4 thin metal to metal joints and it doesn't remotely make the structure sturdy. The 'self tap' screws are a special kind of pain. Hex head with a tiny wrench. But because they need to self tap into the wood, it's extremely difficult to get the screws in. I ended up clamping vice grips onto the allen wrench to get enough torque to more easily put it together. And there are 40+ of them. Overall it relies on tons of screw to soft wood connections, which makes it highly unsturdy not to mention impossible to ever move if you wanted to. Normal beds have rails that hook into prebuilt in metal pegs so you can move them fairly easily if you ever need, but NOT this bed. Whoever designed this is terrible. I especially enjoyed the step where you need to somehow hold 5+ separate boards horizontally in the air. It looks great, but my under 40 lb kid makes it sound like it might break. Dangerous dangerous dangerous, should be taken off Amazon and not sold. ... show more
