I have a severe neck problem from a trauma over 25 years ago and over this time period have gone through over 12 different specialist recommended pillows, advertised pillows, name brand top of the line memory foam pillows etc. for the last 7 years specifically, I've had a pillow that's been better than the rest but nothing will truly be best. Then I decided to try this particular pillow, mainly due to its interesting shape and design. Wow. I bought this and received it on April 30th, 2024, and up until now and whenever you read this, my neck has never felt as good as this. In any position I sleep; side, back or stomach. If you sleep on your side, it even has support for your arms if you keep them above your head while in that position. Material is very comfortable, and is shipped in the traditional mattress-in-a-box format of sucking all the air out. Once you break it out of the box, make sure you give it enough time to fully expand. It's not spongy however, it's firm to the point you want firmness to be, and soft where it needs to be. The "hump" especially is in a perfect location no matter how high or low you keep your head to not only support the occiput, but to aid in flare-ups of occipital neuralgia. It really does do a good job of keeping your entire cervical spine in semi-elevated traction. As well, it does a great job of making your shoulders remain lower which is great to both the muscles of your neck and to your well-being because it releases overall tension in the shoulders. This pillow is truly something else. And for the price? If you are only going to return it in 3 days, it's 100% worth it just for that. I literally felt different that next morning. It is a tad smaller than the pillow case but honestly, when it comes to sleep, I'll take it. Typical new memory foam like pillow smell, the smell went away with new sheets. So first thing is I was shopping these types of pillows with my Gel Cooling pillow I bought years ago in mind (I still have it). With that said I was having the impression that these pillows would be melty soft, but there not, not saying that they are hard but if you have experience with gel pillows or anything of that sort these will seem a little more stiff to you but there's a reason for that. These types are engineered for "comfort", "support" and "pain relief" due to pillows and your sleeping habits, with that said I undserstood this purpose shortly after buying mine. After taking if out of the packing, it comes compressed in a bag, I let it decompress for a while and then tried it out, I was happy with how soft it was. But when I returned to it hours later that night I saw that it had more than doubled in size, and after this it wasn't as soft so I was a little perturbed. Maybe too days later I had a migraine headache sneak up on me at work around 1pm, I stuck it out without any meds all the way until bed time, and to my surprise when I laid on the pillow again, immediately and I mean immediately the pressure on the back of my head was relieved. I fell asleep and the next morning I had no lingering issues from the headache. This is what this is for, is built to give you extreme comforting head and neck support through the night no matter how you toss and turn (which I do frequently), it can't be so soft that it allows your head to drop to an uncomfortable level which is what began happening with my gel pillow, this is where the "wake up headaches" come from, with this pillow I haven't one of those since I bought mine, which has been over three months at the time I'm writing this, so if you're one of these people like me who deal with the wake up aches from sleep, stop reading this and go click Buy Now. ... show more

I’m not a huge reviewer but I had to come back on here to say this pillow is fantastic. I’ve bought all kinds of pillows for my neck and back problems. I’ve gotten pregnancy full body pillows, expensive as hell fancy pillows, but this one has definitely improved my sleep quality and, most importantly, my mood. I no longer have neck pain from lying down, this supports your head the way you need - even when on your side, scrolling your phone at night. And the pillow has two heights if you’re feeling like you need more or less lift. Just buy it, I’m telling you it’ll be worth it. I’m laying on it now as a type this and my head feels so comfy.
