I recently spent a small fortune on a Dell XPS 17 and wanted a sturdy, good looking case to store it. I looked at envelopes but decided I like this because of the protection it provides. I am not disappointed. It's really attractive, slim and durable. The only thing -- my XPS 17 has a very slim profile and this case is a few inches larger than I really need. I think my particular laptop could fit into a 15" case. I'm keeping this one nonetheless because I like it a lot.

I read a tons of reviews before I purchased this, as I am very clumsy. I drop things - a lot. But I cannot afford a high-priced protective case. This case works great!! It’s well-made and sturdy, and protects my laptop beautifully - I’ve already dropped it twice from a height of 4 feet snd NO damage to my laptop. The Zippers stick a little, but I’ll put up with that for the cost and the protection offered!

This was a great purchase and product, I just wish there was a little more room in the center as I can't fit the charger inside the case with it. However it's very light and durable, not a hard case but close.

While i am sure it will protect my laptop from generic elements and dust and our cat, it is no where near as tough as i was expecting. I am not sure the softness of the outer shell will do much against things that may fall on it or if it falls. It also does not fit the laptop and a mouse or its power cord/charging unit. it is just wide enough to hold the laptop, anything thicker than a notepad or my phone in the top sleeves make it bulge so that it wont close properly, i will use it for a generic case around the house but will be looking for better one for travel.
