Fairly impressed with the lot I received. Little to no warp or twist, minimal unusable material (knots, blemishes), great color variation and value for the price. All boards are true to size and look good. Plan on using them for some new jigs and fixtures

Most of the boards were fine. There were a couple that were pretty roughly cut with frayed corners and some warping. Some had some discoloration, and I wouldn’t have picked them had I bought in person (price of buying sight unseen). One of the walnut boards was not 2” wide the entire length of the board and had a little taper (1-7/8” on one end vs 2” on the other). All in all decent value, especially if you don’t have access to tools like a jointer or table saw to cut down and square larger pieces. ... show more

It came straight, with no warping. The width of some of the wood was less 1/16th” off from the others, but that’s okay. It’ll sand out. I’m happy with this wood.

Eleven out of the fifteen pieces were very nice, I was especially impressed with the pure white color of the maple. However, one of the walnut pieces was pretty much unusable due to a large void. Another walnut was a very light color and two of the cherry pieces had blemishes.

If you are going to use this for a cutting board it will require a little further milling. One of the boards on the side was shady but it’s hidden in the glue up. I’ve would consider buying again if I need to make a quick board for a gift.

Beautiful wood. Be sure to check the cut. Not all pieces were perfect. This worked fine for me as I typically remove factory edges. Ran it thru the plainer, sanded and oiled and it came out great.
