  • good fountain, needs some quality control.
Color: Sandstone
Hmm. Not as good a product as I hoped and not as bad as could be. First off it is attractive, goes together easy, is light weight, and produces nice water sound with a minimum of spray. The product was well packaged and arrived safely. In unpacking the wee door which can access the p u mpg inside the center - fell about six inches to the top of my work table. Shattered. So, not super strong. The feeling is of fragility. This carries over to all of the parts...they feel fragile. The fountain went together with little fuss and is attractive. Additional items to consider are the tube within the bottom bowl down which you feed the electric cord. This tube was exactly level with the edges of the bottom bowl And this may Llow water to splash or enter the tube down which is your electric cord. I addressed this by buying a grommet (rubber) and drilling a hole through the center which can then wrap the cord and be secured in the hole. Buy a one inch grommet. My prior fountain came with this and worked like a charm. Other issue... the base and bottom are on one plane and the second center piece along with the top two bowls and top are on another. To my eye visible about three to five degrees off. A nice angle, not. I addressed this by rotating the fountain to minimise the view of the angle. I skimmed the base so that the top two bowls empty equally, works nice but this makes the angle more visible. For the price the fountain is good. I have one in the back yard that cost a hundred less is more substantial and is square. Out of stock now. This Domanico fountain is a perfect size, moves the water well and is easily adjusted. Three stars as the quality is not what it should be. ... show more

  • ... 4 stars is that I figure nothing is ever perfect. However
Color: Sandstone
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that I figure nothing is ever perfect. However, I'm very happy overall with my new fountain. I've had a smaller one before, so this was easy for me to put together, though heavier than my old one. This big fountain is amazingly lightweight in each section. The sections fit together fine, and the tubing was long enough to reach the pump with no problem. As to water evaporation which some folks complained about in reviews I read, I suggest accepting scientific fact. Running water, outdoor heat or wind, and a bit of splash, will all contribute to some water loss over a few days. The cord, once it exits the bottom of the fountain, is about 6 feet. I use a heavy duty extension cord in order to connect to my outdoor plug-in receptacle. I like the sound of running water, and so do the birds. Our valley in SW Oregon gets quite hot in summer, so this water source is great for the birds. I kept the pump intake filter open to the max, for a fast water flow. It can be adjusted at any time buy opening the little housing 'door', and turn the intake filter to the pumping speed you want. I'll wait on anything else, as I just set this up. The fountain was well packed; though I detest styrofoam, it certainly protected each element of the fountain. I can recycle the cardboard box, but alas, the huge styrofoam blocks will have to go to the dump. I can't use them for anything practical. Be sure to level the base of your fountain, before assembling everything. That way water flows evenly over each little spillway of each level. I'm happy with this nice big fountain. ... show more

  • Pretty, but…
Color: Sandstone
Each and every time we turn the fountain on we have to fill and refill the base. I am worried the pump will burn up if the water gets too low unnoticed. I’m wondering if there is a part missing, a plug or something.

  • Beautiful fountain!
Color: Sandstone
I purchased my fountain in the winter, unpacked it and it seemed to be ok. A few months later, I set it up only to find part of it was cracked. I didn't notice the crack when I unpacked it due to the intricate design. I reached out to the seller to see what can be done. They quickly replaced the broken part without hesitation! I highly recommend this seller and the beautiful fountain! 5 stars!! ... show more

  • Too Light Weight
Color: Sandstone
Likes: It looks like the in the pictures. Dislikes: Light weight, the plastic hose from the top is too short to connect to the pump; I had to pull and stretch to make the connection, and the pump is very cheap and small.

  • Disappointed
Color: Sandstone
I love the fountain and it's beautiful where I have it in my back yard but, as you can see in the pictures, the finish on the inside of the bowl bubbled up after we put water in it and peeled away. The finish is like latex paint. They told us we could send it back. That's ok but who wants to take all that down and box it all back up! We asked if they would send us just the bottom bowl to replace and they said they would. We have not gotten it yet. Now the other two are peeling. They also told us we should use distilled water. You can see how large it is. It would cost a fortune to keep distilled water in the fountain because we have to fill it up every few days from it splashing out and the sun evaporating it. ... show more

  • It's beautiful and looks like it's organic material.
Color: Sandstone
Not a 5 star because the sound of the water on the resin makes an empty plastic sound. But we looked up on line for ideas and found that putting some vines to let the water drip down, made it perfect. Cement gets mold and this doesn't. Love it.
