I bought the Dolphin CC Plus with the caddy and cover knowing I would want the caddy to store and move it around. The cleaner itself feels very well made. The caddy is sturdy and easy to move around and surprisingly the cover is of alot better material than I expected. I put the Dolphin CC Plus is and turned it on and it began to instantly clean the pool. I have an open pool surrounded by oak trees and palms that drop palm nuts at this time of year. The Dolphin CC Plus performed FLAWLESSLY! It never got stuck on the stairs or ledges and picked up the smaller dirt and silt as well as the bigger tree leaves, etc... OVerall, I am completely satisfied with this purchase and love the simplicity of this unit. Sometime getting more bells n' whistles just make things break or not function as well at the basic functions that it was intended to master. I think the simplicity of this unit and the ease of setup and use is what has made them so reliable. Time will tell if that is true. I am always skeptical when purchasing things online, especially something like a pool cleaner...BUT THE DOLPHIN NAUTILUS CC PLUS ROBOTIC POOL VACUUM CLEANER WITH THE UNIVERSAL CADDY AND CLASSIC CADDY COVER WERE NOT A DISAPPOINTMENT! I read as many reviews as I could find on this pool vacuum and other more expensive Dolphins along with other brand pool cleaners. This one, even without tracking, continued to get the best reviews. Now I understand why. THIS POOL CLEANER REALLY CLEANS! I read some reviews that said it would clean the walls and bottom of the pool, but really didn't clean the tile line. When I dropped it into the water, within four or five minutes it climbed to the top of the waterline, turned and jetted across the tile line on one whole side of the pool. I continued to watch it and it cleaned the walls and the tile line so much I was worried it might not clean the bottom. BUT...once I knew it wouldn't get stuck on the drains or the pop up filters in the bottom of the pool, I went about my day and let it do its thing. It ran for two hours then stopped. When I went out to look, my pool was the cleanest it has ever been. It picked up even the finest silt, worms that had fallen to the bottom of the pool washed in from the wind and rain, and leaves (including about 3/8" to 1/2" wide by 12" to 14" long strands of palm leaves). Getting the pool cleaner, the caddy, and the cover as a package deal was a GREAT VALUE and worth every penny I paid. I've only used it once, but I am thrilled with the purchase! It was easy to put in the water, and to take out of the water. It's a little heavy from the weight of the water when removing it from the pool, but I took advice from one of the reviews and got a pole with a hook on the end (normally used to retrieve duck decoys) to bring it to the shallow end and up onto the shelf where I could reach the handle and lift it to drain and return to the caddy. After my 20 yr old Aquabot Turbo finally gave out after numerous owner overhauls I researched what was on the market to meet my needs. 20×40 vinyl lined inground with radiused corners. I couldn't be more pleased. It's a random clean but it eventually cleans the entire pool including the water line in a couple hours. The filters are super easy to remove, clean and reinstall. I bought the caddy so storage is easy. My only complaint is the plug on the end of the cable seems fragile and should be handled with care. For the price I think it's a good pool vac. ... show more

I absolutely love the fact that it was pool ready, when unboxed. I took it directly outside read the small instructions manual, and it was up and running in about 15 to 20 minutes after unboxing. PROS, IT WORKS GREAT. LOVE THE TIMER, AND THE EASE TO GET IT IN THE POOL. Cleaning the filter is a breeze! Just take the filter out after ever run and empty and spray with hose to clean! Make sure to read cleaning instructions, make sure to clean the filter before it dries, if you clean it after, it may be harder to clean after everything is stuck to wall of filter. I also purchased the Caddy and water proof cover with it. I’m not going to lie, when I opened the box for the Caddy it was a bit intimidating, but after I laid all the pieces out, my 4 yr old granddaughter was looking at directions with me, while I was making sure all parts were there, my granddaughter was helping me put them in order. I’m sitting there looking at it thinking and telling Emma, although it was not a lot of parts, anything that needs to be assembled is not for me! My granddaughter says….Mimi we already know what the parts are, let’s watch YouTube. Who would ever think that a 4 yr old would be smart enough to think about that! We googled a you tube video and had it put together in 15 minutes!! GO EMMA!! ❤️ We found out just how easy it was to assemble the Caddy. So glad I ordered the caddy and weather poof cover! Highly suggest ordering this! The timer is not waterproof, so when it rained I had to scramble to hurry and disconnect it from the cleaner, and get it in the house, the caddy and cover will be shipped separately, it came the next morning. No more scrambling now! CONS; taking the cleaner out of the water was a bit heavy the first time, I took it out immediately, without holding it at side of pool for a minute to drain the water. Remember, DO NOT HOLD THE CORD TO DRAIN! It has a handle to pull is out with, once you get it to the water surface. Also it does climb the walls, but will occasionally slip back down. Personally, I don’t care if it cleans all the water lines, as that is why I have a pole and brush. All and all I think it is a great cleaner and highly recommend. I seldom ever write reviews!!! FYI, MY POOL IS IN GROUND 18x36, the specifications says it is good for 30 feet, it’s great for 18x36 no problem! I hope some of this long winded information was helpful.
