  • Nice pool floor and wall cleaner.
Size: Nautilus CC with Caddy and Cover
This pool cleaner does a very good job. It will climb walls and clean the pool floor. It attempts to do stairs but don;t count on it. I just brush the stairs to the floor area for the unit to vacuum any debris up. It runs for 2 hours and shuts down but power is still on at the controller box which is tethered to the pool vacuum. The basket is easy to clean and will pick up sand and small detritus. ... show more

  • Packs power without a hard hitting price
Size: Nautilus CC Plus Wi-Fi + Caddy
I have to say I couldn't be more mad at myself. The fact that I have gone without a vacuum for so long when I could have been swimming in crystal clear water everyday is such a crime! When we first purchased our very own IRL Money Pit, we were in love with the pool. Boy were we wearing our rose colored sunglasses! This pool was possessed and had a hunger for money. After we retrieved over 200 bags of leaves from the belly of the beast we bought a top of the line Dolphin vacuum. Picture any seaside surf shop style pullover nylon jacket of the 80's and that was the color of our 1,700 dollar pool vacuum. More than a number of my vehicles! It worked. It was cumbersome to clean out but it was the early 2000's and we were young first time pool owners. Cut to years later and the vacuum dies, we aren't living the DINK lifestyle anymore. We thought we could eek through to the next time we had a service come out to check the water and clean it. This year had been the worst. From cottonwood trees to an abundance of whirlygigs, the countless leaves and the ultimate, a F2 tornado blew into our yard taking 80 hickories with in and deposited quite a serving to our voracious pool. Hours with the hot sun baking me more and more I broke down on Prime Day and got this midrange vacuum. I was fearful that I would be bringing a never able to be fully dried cumbersome shaped vacuum to the back of Kohl's to be returned but to my SHOCK. This Dolphin is a powerhouse! Up and down the walls with ease. The pool is a 20 x 20 x 20 with roman corners and a 10 foot deep end. Not one time did it get stuck. No missed spots or problem areas. It was showcasing all the best qualities. Ease of cleaning, you betcha! The dual containment filters come in and out with no effort at all. Rinse all the ultra fine to bulky debris out with your hose and you're ready to run again. With a heavy load, it cleared the bottom and sides nearly with only 3 cycles. The 4th one is running as I type. OH...(yep, the GenX ellipsis) you can even control it on an app. I was able to get it set up but still working on the WIFI perspective. A tornado side effect. I am blown away! I am not a sponsored review or benefiting in any way. Just an honest, down to Earth, rambling review. If I was a spunky tiktok influencer, I'd refer you to my links but just order one for yourself today. You'll be the next to write a rambler! ... show more

  • Great vacuum
Size: Nautilus CC with Caddy
The first one we received wasn’t working properly and I can’t help but wonder if the negative reviews had the same problems we had. The vacuum wouldn’t move much and eventually stopped moving all together. I pursued a refund and was told to contact the manufacturer first for trouble shooting. I’m very glad I did because their customer service was outstanding. After a very short description of my problem I was told sounds like you have a bad unit out of the box. She sent me an email with return info and just as she said they mailed me a new unit when fed-ex scan in my return. The new one came and it works great. It picks up everything climbs the walls and hits the water line just as described. I’m very pleased with this product and the customer service I received. ... show more

  • No pool cleaner is perfect but...
Size: Nautilus CC Plus Wi-Fi
After reading literally hundreds of reviews, I purchased a cordless pool cleaner - it got 35 five star reviews on Amazon and none less than that! I was impressed. I turned off the pump so it wouldn't get stuck on the (raised) drain. It got stuck. It got stuck on the stairs as well. In both cases, it got free after some effort. The problem with these cordless cleaners is that they are power limited because of the battery and freeing itself gobbles up energy. The cleaner also struggled to get up the walls. Plan B was to purchase the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus with WiFi, based on the reviews. In choosing a cleaner I considered the size and shape of my pool because it became clear to me from the reviews that one size doesn't fit all, i.e., a great cleaner for one pool might be terrible for another. I have a lap pool that measures 45 x 7.5 feet, is about four feet deep throughout, and has stairs on one end. I have used the Nautilus CC Plus three times. My pool doesn't get a lot of leaves or debris so I don't need a large basket. The provided baskets are more than ample. My biggest problem is the junk that collects at the waterline so I had hopes that this robot would be helpful. The Frequently Asked Questions, included in the documentations, answered the question, "Does my Dolphin clean the waterline? Answer: The cleaner is designed to climb the walls, but does not reach the waterline". See attached video. This does exactly what I need it to do. Obviously, they need to hire a better marketing person. This robot does not get stuck over the raised drain with the pump running and drawing water from the pool. It climbs the steps (seems to love them) but will occasionally get stuck on a step or in a corner, but it releases itself, and because this is tethered you don't have to worry about draining a battery. It also has considerable power and thrust for climbing the walls and stairs due to it drawing current from the power supply. My only concern is the wear and tear on the paddles/fins, whatever, when it gets stuck as sometimes they keep spinning against my PebbleSheen surface before releasing. Time will tell. I have not been able to pair it with either my iPhone or iPad but I have contacted the company in hopes that they can solve the problem. If not, this is not a game changer for me. Finally, just put it in the water and walk away. I found myself getting stressed and yelling at it, "Why are you attacking the stairs? You haven't touched the other end of the pool? Why do you keep going over the same area?" I thought that this was supposed to be smart and map out the pool but it didn't appear to be doing anything intelligent. I finally went away and when I came back it had covered the whole pool and picked up everything. The robot does not have a memory so every cleaning is a new experience, like a goldfish doing a swim around the fishbowl and forgetting the last pass. Cleaning the filters is a breeze. See the photo of the debris that it picked up on its first use. You can spend a lot more for a pool robot but at this price I highly recommend this cleaner. Update: I have now had this robot for a while and am still very happy with it. The customer service has been excellent. After a few emails back and forth about the WiFi not working they decided to send a new power supply. That fixed the problem. With the Dolphin app on your phone you can turn the robot on and off and schedule it to clean every day or two other options. Unfortunately, you cannot control the robot. This would be useful as it did get stuck a couple of times, and rather than wait for it to free itself (it was taking a long time on the raised drain or step) I decided to free it manually. Perhaps in the future they might add more capability to the app so you could get the robot free without having to intervene manually. I would love to be able to tell it to reverse when it headed to my steps. In conclusion, I stand by my recommendation about the efficacy of the robot and now can add that they have great customer service. Update 7/24/24. The customer service person suggested that I moved the floats closer to the robot, which might alleviate the robot getting stuck on the stairs. I moved the closest one and this seems to have helped. I just purchased pleated filters, which are for finer debris and not included when you buy the robot. I was skeptical but I thought that I would try them. I first cleaned the pool with the filters that are supplied. Immediately afterwards I put the pleated filters in for another cleaning cycle. They picked up really fine material that the standard filter missed. When I rinsed the pleated filter it looked like mud was coming out of them. So these really work. I would not recommend using them without using the coarser filters first because some large particles get stuck in the pleats and not all of them will rinse out easily with a hose so you have to manually separate the pleat to get them out. That being said, there were only a few of these particles so it was no big deal. The robot continues to work very well. I always remove it from the pool when done as I've read that the robot and cable will deteriorate faster if you leave it in the water, however that's for a very long period of time so it's up to you if you want to leave it in the pool and have it come on a particular schedule. Update: June 5, 2025. There was a lot of debris in the pool when it was opened this season. The CC Plus did a great job but keep in mind that if there is a lot of debris you need to empty it more often, i.e., don't let it run the full two hours. After several cleaning cycles I was able to run it the full time. One thing that is aggravating is recoiling the hose. It has a mind of its own. If you start to coil it clockwise it's OK for one or two coils but then it decides it doesn't want to go in that direction anymore. Grrrrr. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. ... show more

  • Makes Pool Cleaning So Much Easier
Size: Nautilus CC
The Dolphin Nautilus CC has been a great investment for keeping the pool clean. It was simple to set up—just plug it in, place it in the pool, and let it do the work. It does an excellent job picking up dirt, leaves, and other debris while scrubbing the pool walls, which saves a lot of time compared to manual cleaning. The top-load filter is easy to remove and rinse out after each use, making maintenance quick and hassle-free. It climbs the walls well and leaves the pool looking much cleaner after every cycle. If you have an above-ground or in-ground pool up to 33 feet, this robotic cleaner is a huge time-saver. It's reliable, easy to use, and well worth the investment for anyone who wants to spend more time enjoying their pool instead of cleaning it. ... show more

  • Best purchase ever! Thank you dolphin!
Size: Nautilus CC Plus Wi-Fi + Caddy + Cover
I would buy one of these every year if i have to. Hoping they last longer but seriously, this has made my pool useable for the first time in about 20 years or more. We have never been able to keep our pool clean. We paid a professional the first few years. He showed us how to do it but it was a mess every year and our vacuum never got the sludge out. On top of that we had an automatic one we bought with the pool we couldnt use because it got stuck on the kid safety ledges. It would take all summer to get it even slightly clean and by then it was too cold to swim. So i initially bought a cordless one and it started swimming around doing well and stirring up the years of sludge until it died and got lost for almost a month. Everyone was digging around and swimming in it to find it but we just about lost hope to find it in time to return it. So thats when i got the idea to get the corded one. This thing got all the sludge out and its cleaned algae off the sides. Its just such a blessing. Everything is so easy you dont even need instructions. And you know thats rare. I didnt care about the app and there was no instructions so i wasnt going to use it. My teenage son installed the app with ease and its so awesome Im glad it has it. The filters i cleaned in no time. Im newly divorced so it’s a blessing to have things that are fast and easy for me to do now that i have to do it all myself. It does occasionally get stuck on the seats but it manages to get off usually. It did chip a piece of the fiberglass from being stuck one time but thats a small price to pay for such a wonderful appliance. My pool is awkward with seats and ledges for kid safety and its managed to clean it all. Look at my pool! The kids said this is the best it has ever looked! Since we instalked it over 20 years ago. These kids barely got to use this pool so its going to be a great summer! These are before after pics. Update Still going great. I can see all the way through tgis crystal clear water. I just love this thing. Im attaching a photo of what i got to hold the electrical box that has to be out of the rain. The top of it doubles as a space to keep it instead of the caddy. ... show more

  • Buy 3 so you can have a reliable pool cleaning! Or look elsewhere to another manufacturer!
Size: Nautilus CC Plus Wi-Fi
Where do I begin? I bought this from Amazon back in 2023. It worked perfectly until it stopped climbing the walls of the pool. Before I sent it out to Maytronic's authorized repaid center, under warranty to fix, I bought a back up. That was on March 23, 2025. 11 months after the first purchase. Upon receiving the new one, I sent the first one out for repair. It took 5 weeks to get it back! Has I not bought the second one as a "backup" my pool here in the Las Vegas summer heat would have been infested with algae! It took over 9 times to get the product to connect to the same wifi (2.4mhz) as the first one. Which was very frustrating. I placed it in the pool, and it worked fine an "climbed the pool walls" to do it's job as advertised. The first one was returned from repair and I noticed it looked the same as when I sent it. The guide wheels looked "used" as when I sent it. I casually dismissed the notion thinking it was "repaired" to its original working condition. Fast forward to September 18th. The back up (newest Dolphin) just stopped working. After 5 back and forth emails and phone calls, Maytronic finally agrees to issue a warrant RMA for repair. So, shipping cost for a second Maytronic dolphin was one me. Now I was out an extra $123.89 for TWO failed Doplhins plus the cost of over $1,845.00 for buying them. The back up only worked for less than 4 months in the pool! I place the original (repaired) Dolphin in the pool and the wifi hooked up immediately! BUT it would NOT climb the walls which was why it was sent in for repair! Unbelievable! Needless to say, it gets worse. The back up Dolphin gets sent again the their authorized facility and after the repair, and numerous calls to Maytronic's 3rd party call center in the Philippines, agrees to send a "prepaid" return label, the RMA and ship directly to Duluth Headquarters for repair. Meanwhile I have NO Dolphin in my pool and the algae grows. My back up plan failed miserably when I trusted their product! Now fast forward to October. I was promised another "prepaid label" to fix the wall climbing problem that wasn't fixed in the second repair!!! During this process (5 weeks now) Maytronics sends me an email. See below: Dear James Bxxxxxxxxxx, Thank you for contacting Maytronics Customer Care. I have confirmed that your Replacement Dolphin order has been shipped. Customer Care Team Turns out that this items is being sent to Duluth by A DIFFERENT customer not my return replacement! Unreal! Si, now I have a missing Dolphin, and email after the first warranty RMA was issued, asking my to prove the purchase receipt. Thankfully, Amazon order history was able to show "proof of purchase". So ask yourself, how did they loose the original receipt and approve a warranty (RMA issued) ? Just to recap as of today the Dolphin sent in TWICE for repair so it can clean the walls of my pool is still not working and I am waiting for the RMA< Prepaid Label! The missing Dolphin sent to Maytronics Duluth location is still missing!!! 3 unanswered emails with notice of purchase sent, I have heard ZERO from this company! Would I recommend this product? Sure if you buy 3 for continuous back ups you might be ok. Will update this saga as in develops. UN pleased customer for sure! $2,000 later and still NO working product in my pool! Not to mention the added $386.00 of additional algae liquids I had to buy to keep the pool from turning swamp green. ... show more
