This chair is very nice. Color exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Quality seems good. The assembly proved challenging. The holes in the chair bottom were off about 1/4 inch from the rocker portion. We solved the problem by disassembling the rocker cross bars, removing two washers to allow a bit more give, and installing the rockers only first. We then forced the cross bars in place and finished the rocker installation. Done not according to the directions and with some head scratching and irritation, but it worked in the end. ... show more

All the mommy blogs will make you believe you need a $1,000 nursery chair and you don't! We use this chair with our now 9 month old and it's been great. No bells and whistles, but it's been holding up well. My partner and I are average sized. I'm 5'4 medium build and he's 5'10 medium build. I think if we were significantly larger people it may not be as comfortable but its perfect for us. I adore the muted leopard print, it can go with a lot of things surprisingly. I personally like to use an extra oblong pillow on one side to help support my arm as I cradle the baby. Glad I didn't splurge on a mammoth nursery chair as they are all pretty ugly. I purchased the furry white glider and it’s very aesthetically pleasing. As other reviewers have mentioned there were issues trying to get the holes to align when placing the back of the chair onto the base of the chair. It took some finagling for about 20 minutes or so to get it in. All in all it was easy to assemble. About 45 mins in total by myself and I’m 6 months pregnant. The chair is very comfortable and glides nice. The pocket on the side to store items is also an added bonus. We live in a small apartment and it’s the perfect size for the space we have. The chair isn’t too wide where it’s uncomfortable but also not too tight. It’s comfortable to sit in for an extended period of time. Not too firm but also not too soft. I am a little frustrated that the zipper on the bottom of the chair broke off immediately when assembling- the quality could be better for the price. I don’t love that there is a massive dangling piece of fabric under the chair as you walk by it but I’m not going to hassle with returning and ordering a new one. Buyer beware if that’s something that would bother you. The back of the chair where the stuffing is was also a bit misshapen when I took it out of the box. I’m hoping over time it will puff back out. Overall I like the chair a lot. I will update once baby is here if I have any issues but I believe it will be a comfortable chair to nurse and rock my baby in. ... show more

I’m obsessed with this chair! I got it in the gray leopard print and find it neutral enough to go with grays and browns. I wasn’t sure what to expect on comfort because I’m a somewhat tall woman (5’8”) but it’s perfectly comfy to me. I can relax in the chair and the back is a great height for me to tilt my head back. The pocket on the side is convenient for my kindle and would also hold a book or remote, I imagine. Shipping took forever and a flipping day, something like 3 or 4 weeks, but the chair was well worth the wait. Love it! ... show more

    • Difficult to assemble (white fuzzy) - pay $90 to have assembled for you

Once assembled, this chair is great. I give this chair a 4 star rating, because of the difficulty to assemble. Many of the reviews talk about how easy it is to assemble, but I am curious which material of this chair they purchased. I purchased the white fuzzy material and found it got in the way during assembly. Most of the assembly we had no problem, however when it came time to attach the bottom part of the chair where you sit and the top part of the chair where your back hits is when it became very frustrating. The metal pieces on each part have to line up just right and once you think you have it right you have to really shove it down before it latches. Once slid down in the bottom part of the chair, it jiggles and only becomes secure and tight when you tighten the screws on the bottom side of the chair. Overall it took us like 4 hours, before we got it right. I normally have no problem building furniture but this was pretty difficult. My recommendation to save yourself time and stress is to pay the $90 to have someone come and assemble. Good luck ... show more
