This 3-story dollhouse is difficult to review because it's really more about the process than the finished product. It’s not exactly a dollhouse for children — it’s more like a construction project for adults. I honestly think it’s the most complicated child’s toy I’ve ever seen, with hundreds of tiny pieces you’re expected to assemble yourself. It’s kind of astonishing. Still, the design is extremely cute, the quality seems great, and the colors are vivid. If I were someone who enjoyed this sort of thing, I think I’d have a lot of fun with it. But for me, it’s just way too much work. I’ve had it for three months now and I still haven’t assembled it yet because I can’t face it. I’m hoping I can eventually convince one of my grown children to put it together for me — though I’ll probably have to trade babysitting to make that happen. Bottom line, if you don't mind the incredibly intricate construction, this seems like a wonderful dollhouse. And the little doll and furniture that are included are cute. Just be forewarned that if you don't enjoy assembling complicated products, this is not the item for you..

The Doll house is super flimsy. My husband and I had issues trying to get some of the pieces to go all the way in and back out. When trying to detach pieces, they broke. My husband told me before I attempted to put it together that it hurt his fingers and was awful to put together. I dont think it was terrible to figure out how to put it together, but it did hurt my fingers when trying to connect the roofs and poles together. The pieces wouldn't go all the way down and when we tried to take it off, it broke off inside the other piece. We also noticed it already had some damages to it. I think, if the connector pieces worked more smoothly, then it wouldn't be a terrible idea of a toy. It's actually pretty cute. But unfortunately is cheaply made. I also noticed that the different room themes were not like the picture. I actually received lots of duplicates of the same 3 rooms. We got this for our 3 year old daughter to use it as a doll house, but I don't see it being used very much. I took a picture of what I could use for the dollhouse. There were still lots of pieces, I couldn't use since they broke off into each other. Some of the lanterns at the top of the poles also didnt fit correctly all the way. If you barely touch it, it will fall over because the connectors they are sitting on won't go down all the way. It's cute, but not a sturdy toy.
