First, I am not really a "shorts" person. However, living in SoCal, they are a summer necessity. These shorts are the perfect length and with elastic waist and pockets are super-comfy and flattering, too. Not dressy but not super casual, I find myself reaching for them on days I am gardening or running errands. I even wore them kayaking and they were perfect. I am going to order them in more colors.

I have ordered these shorts in the past and have loved them. This time, the material is much different. Not the stretchy knit they were before, but a cotton blend with no stretch. They look like they would need ironing out of the dryer as well. Why did they change fabric? I am returning.
