I saw this dress recommended by an influencer & thought it would be cute for a beach wedding I was going too. Other reviews suggested sizing up one size. I would say go up two. The top fit good but the elastic waists on both the top & skirt were tighter than I would have preferred & I didn’t feel comfortable. The set did look as the pictures, just wasn’t what I was hoping for & returned it.

This set is very cute. I love that even separately the top and bottom are cute. They are easy to style and match with all different styles. I am 5’6, 140 pounds and the medium was a little too tight. The material is not thin or see through, higher quality than a lot of the clothes on Amazon.

HOW DOES IT FIT: For the person wearing this outfit, we got the size XL and the skirt ended up fitting one size too small and the top was two sizes too small. HOW DOES IT LOOK: They found the two pieces very awkward and wished this was all one piece Instead but this IS listed as a 2 piece item. The Person has a long torso and the top reaches their mid stomach only for length. They’re normally a size large top and XL bottom, so this was very disappointing in terms of sizing. I did get the light green, which I found to be a beautiful material with a wonderful dot pattern. The material is comfortable but thin. It would be recommended to wear a slip under the skirt and a tank under the top because of that reason. It’s a shame that the sizing chart is not accurate in this case.

The material is on the cheaper side, but still pretty comfortable. I wouldn't recommend wearing this on a hot summer day. This skirt is fun and flowy. Almost wish it flared out a little bit more for the extra pop. But it's a bit snug as a plus sized girl. I wish I could size up. The top is pretty but just not big enough for large breasts. (I'm a 38dd for reference). You'd have tie this SUPER tight (I did in the photo) to not have a massive amount of cleavage (unless that's what you're going for). Probably best to size up for big boobs. Regardless of that it's super pretty!

Honestly I don't know how these sizes are made. I ordered my usual XL thinking that maybe the size chart they show had some errors and hoping it would be my regular size, but it didn't. The waist front measures 14", which it means all the way around is 28" that is too small for an XL piece of clothing. Material is thin , light and I like the design, but since it is too small, I won't be able to wear it. Length of the skirt is nice, the vneck top is cute and the sleeves fit, but since the openings are too small, you can't even put it on (I tried the sleeves without putting the top on, just the sleeve). It would be ok if the waistband had a nice stretch, but even if you pull with both hands, it doesn't stretch much. This set fits more like a size S. (my daughter tried it, she's 5'6" and 110 lbs and it fit just right for her, she's a size s or xs depending of brand and style).

So I really like this 2 piece set. The skirt was very flattering, perfect for lounging or dancing. The elastic in the waist allowed plenty of flexibility thru out the day. The color and pattern was just as described. The only cons I I found was the top did not fit me correctly. It was slightly small putting pressure in the front (I wear a braw size 38 C/D as a reference) so you might want to order a size up if needed. The other con was that part of the right shoulder had loose stitching in the fabric that will need to be watched. The other sticking on the garments were really well done, especially in the waist of the skirt. Overall I’ve gotten several compliments on this item and would recommend.
