  • This included pwm controller will charge a lifepo4 battery fully.
Size: 100W 19x26in
This kit can charge a lifepo4 battery. Maximum charge current is coming from this cheap pwm charge controller, it's only at around 14.6 volts max voltage from this controller with this solar panel. Which is enought to charge a 12v lifepo4 battery at 14.4 volts charging. The only trick to charge a lifepo4 battery more quickly, is to have full sun day on solar panels. Best to invest in a mppt controller charger, but not totally necessary for a small solar panel setup like this. 14.4 volts in full sunlight on this solar panel to charge your lifepo4 battery fully. Make sure solar panel face is facing sun at 90 degrees to sun for best voltage. These solar panels seem to work, but they are fragile. Do not bend them too much, I heard one making a slight crackling sound when bending slightly. Good to have or make a solar stand that supports this solar panel well so it doesn't bend much. Like make a solar stand out of pvc pipe and carriage bolts to make a folding frame stand. Nice to have this light weight portable solar panel. Does charge a 12v lifepo4 battery 50 ah pretty quickly. But better to buy another solar panel to get more juice to battery for when you have loads on battery, and for charging, topping off your battery much faster. Too bad that all solar panels are only about 23 percent efficient or less. Can you imagine if solar was 100 percent efficient ? You could then run the whole World off of pure sunlight !!! Plenty of power comes from solar if We could get much more efficient panels, controllers and batteries. We need about 50 percent more efficient solar for it to really take off, and for a forever energy source. Solar panels used in space by NASA etc. like on all satellites, work better in the coldness of space, if you chill a solar panel down in temperature you can get much higher charge current. Much More effeciency from freezing temps, on a solar panel. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Excellent product. Does exactly as advertised. Been searching a long time for an affordable 100 watt, foldable solar panel, for my solar generators.

  • Inexpensive 100 Watts

Lets just say this is my first solar panel and charge controller bought for my micro-camper trailer, a TAG. When received from UPS the box was flattened and was unsure if panel, etc. would be in workable condition. After opening this very thin and semi-flexible panel it did have one corner slightly turned in. So I was unsure if it would work. Got the instructions out and poured over them trying to understand what the procedure was for setting up. Actually it is pretty easy once you get your wires connected properly (I substituted my #12 wires for the thin versions with unit). I used my own 12 gage wires and connectors so as to not modify any of the parts if I had to return panel due to improper shipping container. After doing what I read to keep a short length of wire from controller to battery and making the longer length from the panel to the controller I did not notice that one should always plug controller into battery before connecting panel. Testing with only controller connected to panel yielded nothing. Once I reread and found the "order" of connection with battery to controller first and got my wiring proper to + and -, and was out in sun, Panel and charging came to life! I saw as high as 20+ volts from panel o charge controller and around 2.4 amps. Charge controller did its job of not overcharging battery when up to 13.8 volts So I feel this will work as needed in keeping the battery up to snuff in non-connected shore power camping events. I will just have to make sure to watch the battery level when discharging with on-board fan and 12 volt cooler and lights. Did see over 13.8 volts to controller even with cloud cover. Panel itself is very light and protective 'outside" cover works well. But as panel heats up in sun exposer it gets more flexible, so you might consider making a "stand" to support it that can be also folded for storage. I also have added a thin towel to between the panels when it is folded for storage to avoid panels rubbing against each other. While testing I used a digital volt meter to insure proper use and connections--a must. I have since mounted charge controller in protective and water tight Tupperware clear tub to lid of trailer outside accessory box near the solar connection on outside of trailer. Wiring and controller are contained inside accessory box until needed and then run the connections for charging. Solar charge controller can be viewed when trailer accessory lid is open through clear top of Tupperware container or as top is removed for better clarity. Used 3M red auto accessory double-sided accessory tape to supplement mounting Tupperware to trailer accessory box lid. ... show more

  • Good product
Size: 100W 19x26in
This is the second DOKIO solar panel I have purchased. The first one was purchased back in 2020? and has served me well. The glass panel on the roof of my Tacoma is flat lying so I use the plastic panel as a back-up when the sun gets low or when it's partly cloudy. I have two 4x4s I use to explore the back country. The plastic panel (of another brand) I carry in my 4x4 van no longer puts out the amps so I thought I would get something I know is going to work and take the abuse it gets on my camping trips. I plug the panel into my vehicles solar charging system but it comes with a controller that I have used to help someone else, or use as a stand-alone battery charger. I admit I have not used the new panel yet so I am hoping it's the same quality as the old one. If not I will be back here changing my post. ... show more

Working great so far! Came with multiple adapters and cables to connect a variety of devices. Seems durable for a portable unit. Very satisfied with the purchase so far and feeling comfortable that it will last for a while.

  • Missing most important piece. Useless
Size: 100W 19x26in
I bought this a long time ago and hadn’t opened it until now. It’s missing the most important cable… the one that plugs the panel into the controller. What a huge waste of money.
