I have very large dogs - a 140lb St. Bernard and a 110lb St. Bernard/Cattle Dog mix, and have been trying various steps to get them in and out of our car and up on our beds now that they are in the later stages of their lives. I first tried plastic steps that were too steep and my girls just tried to jump over them. Then I got a heavy duty ramp which is a little cumbersome to use and it's going to take some time to get them used to it. Then I found these steps and they are my favorite of all the options, especially given the bargain price. The steps are broad and deep, they have a soft material that the dogs like, and they really can withstand the weight. I tested it myself first (I'm 180lbs) and they didn't budge at all. While these are probably designed for little dogs, trust me that these work for big dogs as well. They aren't really intended to use for cars but you definitely can if you don't mind the lack of easy portability. ... show more

The vet recommended I get stairs for my two small dogs (both around 15 pounds). These stairs were easy to assemble and look nice. I don't currently use the storage part. I bought two sets: one for getting on the couch and one for getting on my bed. The dogs learned to use them right away. They are light weight and easy to move but are also sturdy. I wasn’t expecting something so perfect. It is not fancy or expensive looking, but it is very decent for the price. It is covered in nice quality fabric that will withstand puppy clause. I absolutely love the storage! We get the very large bag of prescription food, and it fits in the back tall stair. All of my dog grooming supplies are in the second stair and treats are in the short stair. It's really helpful I managed to get rid of 3 small annoying boxes of toys, harnesses and his leash. You could also fit small pet blankets too. My terrior likes to sit on them and it's sturdy enough for him. The only thing is that it has large edges and him and I have scratched ourselves either passing by or him accidentally missing a step and it hurt. So I need to get these baby proof (masking tape😅). Other then that it's a good addition to help store extra things for your dog and show him how to walk down stairs instead of jumping off the bed. ... show more

Basic steps and can actually use the bottom 2 if not a huge height to be accessed. Only suggestion would be maybe some straps or way to carry that's easier because I take them out to use for getting in and out of vehicle.
