I’ve been using the product for two weeks and I can hardly believe the change this gadget has made….! it was purchased for a two year old terrier .The vibrations are not painful for the dog at all and there are no marks on the dog after using it. The range and battery life is brilliant. I use this as an aid to my commands, instead of alone- I also own a dog whistle, for gun dog training and believe all owners should buy one . Calling once and using the command stay, if he has disappeared into the bushes I’d use my dog whistle once, then his name and if he ignored me I’d press the vibrate button. He would instantly appear from the bushes and be at my side. I’d then positively praise him for returning. After only three days I never had to press the button for vibrate again- he would return to heel on one dog whistle EVERY SINGLE time. He now doesn’t wear the collar unless I think we might be faced with a dead animal like beach and sealife. Please note you shouldn't use electric shock at first. It’s either a vibrate or a loud high pitched beep. It’s incredibly humane I even tried it myself on my arm to double check. I believe this collar can help those owners who’ve tried hard with recall work to no avail (I have experience dog training and he’s very stubborn!). It means I can now be a responsible dog owner and not have my dog running up to on lead dogs, I can enjoy a walk in the park without having a dog covered in poo. Anyway- highly recommend
